Was looking for a cheap little trashcan to use in the basement near my shoe cleaning station, and ran into this amazon’s choice plastic bin. Aesthetically, it looks good, the color is vibrant and really pops in contrast to the rest of the background color of the decor. The bin fits regular grocery shopping bags and has a raised edge with a cutout hole handle, also a place that I can tie the ends of the trashbag. Size/volume wise, it could be a little bigger and less tapered in the center of the bin. Overall, it wasn’t a bad pickup, only wish was that the body of the bin could be wider and bigger.

My disability means that I can only really use one hand…so finding a bin that was so attractive and only had one handle was an unexpected delight.
There’s no reason that it can’t be used by a person without a disability.
It’s beautiful, elegant, stylish etc and fit into the very narrow space that I have.

I have 4 of these, they blend into a room really well. Easy to clean and carry. The best bin I’ve owned so far. The first one must have had something heavy drop into it as the base cracked, it’s still useable though. The base could do with being stronger. However, it ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for in a bin. It just fits in anywhere, I like that it’s slim and not a round bin.

Use this to hold used hand towel in cloakroom. Good for the space and quite invisible, which is how I wanted. The handle means that it’s easy to lift and empty in the bin.

I have purchased several styles of waste bin over the last decade or so and these are by far my favourite. They are a great size for being placed by nightstands and they are very discreet looking, super easy to clean, having a rounded interior. I am told I am a bit obsessive but I like washing every waste bin in the house every couple weeks or so, since I have a bunny and most of them end up getting used for fur disposal when he is shedding (which is basically all the time, some months more, some less). Bunny fur is super light and clings to the inside wall of plastic containers easily so I find giving the bins a quick wash is the only way to get rid of them completely. I try to keep plastic waste to a minimum so I only use plastic bags in the bathroom and kitchen bins – not in rooms that only produce dry waste. I have had some of them for over 8 years and they still look brand new. One of the best umbra designs, in my opinion

Great deal just what I needed and right colour finally not dark not light no point in posting picture as monitors colour vary so much but its true turquoise. Paid way more for a brown that I bought elsewhere this was a really good find on Amazon and fast delivery takes ups no space in a narrow bathroom beside toilet easy clean plastic and no sharp unfinished edging worth the money

This is the second Skinny Bin I’ve bought as they’re perfect for bathrooms. Great capacity given the narrow depth, the bin fits neatly into improbably small gaps and is perfect for tissues, toilet roll cardboard etc. Easy to grab by the handle and easy to clean. Arrived speedily and earlier than expected. The Pearl white colour is very attractive.

Great slim-profile small waste bin that can squeeze into some narrow spaces. We have these in our bathrooms, living room and home office room. They are small but hold a good amount of trash before needing to be emptied. The built-in handle makes it easy to pull out of the narrow space to remove the bag of garbage and put a clean bag in, then slide back into the space.

Finally got all my colours to do a review!
The colours of the units are exactly like the picture. They’re slim and fits great in small spaces, such as:
– bathrooms
– home offices
– laundry room for lint
– pantry to hold pasta, chocolate, etc.
You can get these at Umbra for $7 so make sure you don’t get them when they are more than $7 on Amazon. The prices did fluctuate a lot for “coral” here, keep an eye on that – taking a star off due to pricing.

Exactly what I wanted. Slim and modern. Fits under my desk perfectly without taking up much space at all. Another review on this site said that the colour is transluscent; it’s not entirely opaque but it’s not transparent either. It’s advertised as being ‘Metallic White’ – it’s not, it’s just, well, plasticy white. But in an attractive way.

Liked that it was slim and good for between toilet and wall in a small powder room. However, I did feel it was very lightweight and the white was a bit on the translucent side. I was expecting a thicker plastic which was more clearly white but the thinner plastic was more translucent. It’s still nice, but different than what I had imagined.

This is a great Canadian product that is a space saver for all those bathrooms where the toilet is positioned a little to close to the sink cabinet. It fits and can be lined with one of those plastic grocery bags and is very easy to clean.
