I’m a novice photographer but I like to take close-up (macro) photos. I thought I was doing alright but using this tripod greatly improved the quality of the photo . For example, the photo of one of my succulents. You can use it like a regular tripod or as a little monkey clinging to a lamp pole or railing or whatnot. It does take some time and effort to get the feel of where to place and how to bend the legs as well as how to orient the camera so it’s stable and perfectly horizontal (my camera has a display setting that shows me if the camera is tilted or straight). Keeping in mind all of the above, I went slowly at first to avoid breaking any of the pieces or have the whole thing topple over. The tripod was easy to assemble and is small enough to carry in a large purse or backpack. One photo shows the set-up with my favourite IPA for scale. There’s also a part for using your smartphone instead of the camera and the remote control is a nice touch as well. What’s more, I got an email a few days after asking if I was happy with the tripod and, if not, to please let them know, so that’s really good customer service. The email also said the tripod comes with a lifetime guarantee. So, I can’t think of anything else I would ask for.

My 4 year old uses this tripod for video calls with family. He carries it around the house and adjusts the legs himself and it’s still going strong. Highly recommend this product! **UPDATE** After nearly two months of use, one of the legs has broken off completely. This is extremely disappointing because, as a TRIpod, it needs three legs to stand. This was a great product until this happened, I do not recommend anymore.

This is a great tripod. I needed a small backpacking size tripod to sneak a proposal on a hike with my girlfriend. It held my iPhone 7 Plus very well, and and seems durable. The bendable legs work well on an uneven surface. It was perfect for the big moment.

This is one of those ‘universal’ tripod/mounts that I have to admit is VERY useful indeed! In ‘tripod mode’ it is very sturdy and firm. In ‘universal’ mode it is extremely malleable to the environment, and the octopus-like arms make it so you can get quite creative with how you mount a device.
My ONE concern is that one you bend the legs all over the place it is VERY difficult to get them back ‘straight’ for storage.. this could be an issue in terms of durability and longevity. Time will tell.

Very versitile. Expands to fit most phones. Have used it as a camera stand or just a stand to watch videos. Stick the legs under your mattress and watch videos without tiring your arms. Comes with a clicker for taking pictures havent been able to take a video with the clicker but it connects to phone via bluetooth. Legs are very movable so you can set it at different angles. Piece that hold phone rotates to allow you to direct the camera up or down.
