This is the second trunkie we have bought for our youngest having loved a gruffalo one that my 4 year old still uses.
There is plenty of space inside to pack all the essentials and clothes for your child. The case itself is very sturdy the clips are good quality and I like that you can twist to lock the clips to close the case so adds a little extra security.
The design is great and my youngest loves to sit on it and ride along on it and also pushes it. Pretty much an all round great childs case.

Took this traveling with a two year old, saw many of them in our travels, it’s fun, works well, and kept him entertained

What a pleasant surprise that my 4 year old loves having his own carry on. On our recent trip, he marched onto the plane quite proudly with his fire truck suitcases in tow. The wheels work quite well. Our child rides the suitcase like a car in many places, e.g., on the jetway. Capacity is good and fits enough for a short trip.

My 3yo son loved this and made moving through the airport with a toddler easy. It’s big enough to fit a couple books, a small blanket, and some toys. We kept it under the seat I front of my son on the plane so we could easily access it during the flight.

Lovely little suitcase, my 4 year old has been riding on it. Carrying it around. It’s more roomy than I thought it would be. Plenty of room for a long weekends worth of clothes but properly would struggle for a bit longer

Kid will have fun at first, then they get tired of riding and carrying, and it will end up on you hand.

Most problem is the wheel design. The wheel is not smooth, it had a weird wave shape wheel; therefore, it is not a smooth rid. Also the wheel is made of hard plastic, when kid is riding it on certain type of floor surface, it is really hard for them to push or for parents to pull. And it also creates very loud noise when rolling on the floor.

Another issue is the lock design, if you put some puffy clothes inside, you will find that after you close the suite case you will still see a gap on top of the area where kid sit on it and this make this suite case not water resist, which might get your kid’s stuff dirty, if your kid is not careful with the drink.

In conclusion, it is a fun suitcase, my kid’s love it at the beginning, and get him interested in packing his own stuff for a trip. But if you are traveling with kid and with a lots of luggage, my suggestion is using a kid’s backpack will be much easier.

It keeps the toddler happy! Good design overall but the position of the horns at the front means that my son has to sit much further up front to hold onto them. When pushing himself forward he sometimes topples over as he loses his balance. There is nowhere else to properly hold and balance on this Trunki as the sides are too smooth and the straps are in the middle.

They’re great if not a little more expensive than the rivals. My kids love sitting on them through the airport. You probably can’t fit quite as much luggage in as a more traditional case but the novelty factor more than makes up for it.

Thought this would be perfect for our adventurous little traveller however it was difficult to tow behind us with it without the little guy on it unless it was in an absolute straight line. It easily tips over and does not corner. The wheels have no grip and my three year old had trouble holding on. The inside doesn’t hold the type of things you would want to for a child’s carry-on… toys, books, snacks… but is better for clothing as there is little to keep the items from falling out when opening.

Purchased this trunki for my toddler as we were going away on holiday and she wanted a suitcase of her own. My younger son sat on it and she pulled it through the airport. They love this thing! Fits just enough for whatever kids need (we had her blanket, stuffed animal, and a few books) and it also fits under the seat on the airplane. Great little purchase.

This is the right size to carry everything from toys and blankies to spare diapers. At 18 months old, he s old enough to ride and hang on.
