Excelente cámara, su conexión a la red es muy estable por tanto no se desconecta ni marca errores, la aplicación es muy intuitiva y fácil de utilizar; puedes programarla con alarma de sensor de movimiento, que grabe en memoria SD ya sea por día o por actividad de movimiento; la instalación es muy sencilla, la nitidez de las imágenes que transmite son muy buenas y ni hablar del infrarrojo para la visión nocturna que es por demás bueno. El producto superó mis expectativas en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

Very good resolution on the camera even with the night vision. Easy to set up and operate. Like the fact that you can set preset views so you can quickly have the camera pan to a preset spot. The only down side for me is that I had to download a another TP Link app for this camera. I have other older TP Link cameras which work on a different TP Link app.

The motion detection is much too sensitive to be useful. Even at the lowest sensitivity, it gets triggered by changes in shadows, or the brightness variance of a television – just from the reflection on a wall from that TV.
Another issue is that you can’t view the video through another device using Google Home or Google Assistant. So although the cam is compatible, the usefulness isn’t so compatible.
I will never buy this model, but will definitely buy the TP-Link brand again as they are a top brand in networking and networked devices.
It’s ironic that my issue is they are too good with their sensitivity. Lol

I bought this camera with the express intention of using the available RTSP stream in 3rd party applications. When I tried to do this it simply did not work. after troubleshooting I found no solution that worked for me, so I contacted customer support who walked me through the same steps I just explained I had gone through and then “passed the problem along to their engineers who will contact me when they find a solution. ” does this camera have this feature or not? I still have not been properly helped after 3 months with this hunk of junk.

El hardware cumple con creces sus funciones, tiene muy buena resolución, su visión nocturna es adecuada, es silenciosa cuando panea y en general está bien construída, sin embargo… gran parte de sus funciones inteligentes no sirven al estar geolocalizada en México, Alexa no es compatible ya que el skill de la aplicación TAPO no funciona para México, e incluso los atajos inteligentes dentro de la misma aplicación TAPO no sirven ya que marca que el firmware de la cámara no es compatible, increíble pero cierto.
Entonces lo que queda es usar la cámara manualmente mediante la aplicación, y eso sí, la configuración dentro de la aplicación contiene bastante variables y eso se agradece puesto que puede uno adaptar el uso de la cámara a las necesidades de cada quien. Muy mal por TP-Link al no dar el soporte adecuado dirigido al mercado mexicano.

Great camera for the money Resolution is decent and it allows for pan tilt which is great. Using it in my office to monitor 3D printer status, does a great job cycling through the views to monitor 4 printers from a prime location.
Bought another unit for our garage just to monitor any invading mice / or garage door left open by accident. It is mounted on the ceiling so its a nice dry location with a top cover as well for debris or anything coming from the roof. Pics attached of output.
There is no cloud storage so all playback is done from the on board SD card (hidden under the camera head tilt up).
Overall great buy and very nice overall finish to the unit.

♥Cosas buenas: entrega impecable, llegó un día antes de lo previsto, el producto es el que aparece en imágenes. ♦Cosas malas: • si tú idea es ponerlo en el techo y ‘es pasión que se te borre’ ya que no incluye -por lo menos en mi caso- el soporte de techo. • El micrófono es pésimo, la grabación es muy saturada • el altavoz, muy cheap, pero funciona. • la imagen es buena, muy buena, no maravillosa pero tiene ese WDR pro II que hay en otras marcas. • nocturno, es muy bueno pero el vídeo es granulado al detallarlo. • lenta como la cuaresma, reaccion tardía y NO es para personas 1 necias, 2 nerviosas, 3 impacientes, 4 sin habilidades. Pero es de fácil manejo, pero tardada configuración. • para usarla con domótica/smart home necesitas un Chromecast (google)/ Fire stick tv(Alexa) para recibir la imagen, o desde su app paterna. • el vídeo puedes también verlo en RSTP, pero es un rollo configurarlo y progresivamente se retrasada hasta 20seg.
