Mi microondas es bastante mini, y este producto seguramente está diseñado para cualquier horno un poco mayor. Sin embargo, aunque justito, cabe y no ocasiona problemas, ni roza con nada.
El material es realmente robusto y después de barios meses de uso, no he tenido poblemas. En mi caso, no tengo necesidad de estarlo ajustando.. pues en su posición mediana me sirve para todo. Tampoco tengo la necesidad de plegarlo totalmente, para guardarlo en espacio reducido, pero esta opción, sí lo reduce al tamaño de un plato plano ordinario.
En ocasiones también lo uso como escurridor, o puesto de cabeza para poner frutas y verduras. Ha resultado ser una muy buena compra.

I bought this thinking it would help keep my microwave clean From splatter. But it unfortunately does not. There are a lot of vent holes on top that anything that splatters gets dispersed through the vents and makes a mess all over the microwave. I will use it as a food cover for outside for flies etc but not for the microwave and will be looking for something else with a better design that actually prevents splatter and not makes it worse.

This is an excellent food cover for use in the microwave. It is flexible, yet sturdy. The many holes in the cover let the steam escape evenly and prevent over-heating. We use it mainly for popping corn in the microwave and we get best results using this cover (as compared to another cover with only a couple of holes). This cover is also GBA free.

This is a great microwave cover that not only covers the splatter, washes well, and serves a duo purpose, as it can be used as a strainer. It collapses for easy storage, washes very easily, and does not stain, even with tomato or curry sauce splatters. Would highly recommend this one over the cheaper dollar store options, as the plastic seems to hold up much better with repeated microwave use (no signs of melting or wear to date).

This was a great addition to our microwave….until it melted. If you own this DO NOT keep it in the microwave flattened and cook popcorn. The popcorn bag melted the handle in the middle of the cover. It’s still functional, just slightly annoyed it melted. It had two jobs, stop splatter and don’t melt.

I like the collapsibility of the cover but I find that on over time the smells of the reheated food get into the plastic and washing or running it through the dishwasher do not get rid of them entirely. I have not had this experience with the harder clear plastic covers.
If you need a cover that you can easily store then this is a good choice.
Update: The smells persisted so I stopped using this cover and bought a hard plastic one which does not retain any smells. I do miss the ability to collapse it though.

This is part of my push to limit the use of plastic wrap, and keep my tiny kitchen under control. There is no room for gadgets or things that do not earn their keep. This pops up, folds down, and fits over a standard dinner plate perfectly. This is going to live in the second baking tin rack I’m ordering, standing on its side on a pull out shelf in the kitchen. Perfect for me, as I need to see what I have, and hate rooting through drawers for things. The other half likes it, which means he will use it, so money well spent. I like the colour. After decades of dull, black, grey and beige kitchen gear, bright red is a treat.

Awesome, works better than other non-collapsible covers, the finger grip is much slimmer so it doesn’t touch your food if you put it on the top of a bowl for example. It’s hard to expand though, you really need two hands to open it otherwise one side collapses as soon as you try to expand the other side, and it can get quite frustrating at first until you figure out the precise finger placements and pressure that will get it open successfully. It collapses in a cinch though, just press the top and it flattens immediately, I keep it in the microwave all the time and can put plates right on top of the collapsed cover if I want.
