I’ve been using smart watches every day for the past 5 years and this one is my 8th watch. I prefer a watch that does more than just give notifications, and I use Android phones, so my preference is Wear OS watches. I have owned a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, which ran Tyzen OS, but returned it due to poor WiFi performance.

Although most of my watches have had the Snapdragon 2100, two of them did not. The Samsung of course had their own processor, and I own a Fossil Sport with the Snapdragon 3100. What I learned about the SD3100 (the supposedly better processor) is that it’s still built on the same architecture as the SD2100, so it’s impossible for it to be any faster. The SD3100 is claimed to have better battery life, but in fact it does not. They actually “underclock” the SD3100 to save power, so what you end up with is a watch that just feels sluggish and non-responsive. Oh yeah, and the battery life is NOT better.

With the Ticwatch C2+ you get the SD2100, but you get 1GB of RAM instead of the 512MB RAM in most watches. Having double the RAM size makes a huge difference. This watch is very quick, very responsive, and a pleasure to use. I end my day with 60% battery life and never having to change my lifestyle to save battery life. I get on average 100 notifications a day, use the assistant to set reminders and send messages. While mowing the grass I use Google Fit to track my workout and that uses GPS and constant heart rate monitor for approximately 2 hours. I still end the day with over 50% battery life remaining. I don’t use the Mobvoi mobile app, instead I use Wear OS app. I primarily connect to the watch using Bluetooth, but if I walk away from my phone I rely on WiFi connectivity. While working outside I leave my phone inside and through my WiFi I still get notifications and full functionality of the watch.

Hands down, this is the best watch I’ve owned, and for the price I don’t feel it can be beat! For reference, here are the other watches I have owned: Moto 360 V1, Asus Zenwatch 3, Ticwatch E, LG Watch Style, Fossil Explorist Gen 3, Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, Fossil Sport. I can’t speak for iOS users, but for Android users this watch is an excellent value and I strongly recommend it.

The watch is elegant, durable, and meets all of my needs. I have it customized with battery %, day/date, steps, and weather on always-on screen, and the bottom side-button opens my dictation app. With always-on screen, my battery live is over a day (>30% battery when I dock it every night). I use the watch to dictate notes and it sends audio clips to my phone automatically. I read and reply to emails/texts on my watch, get alerts about breaking news/incoming calls, and consequently use my phone significantly less. The haptic feedback is on point. I use the stock leather band most times and have an orange band for a more sporty look. If you’re reading this, I strongly recommend you consider buying the watch. I love it and am very happy with it.

I’ll start with battery life, since this is important to most. Day 1 with a full battery, I got a bit more than a half day’s worth of battery power. Though this is likely because apps were updating and I was compulsively checking the watch. Day 2 I got a full day’s worth of use. Day 3, I got a full day of use and enough battery to get through half of the next day.
I’m not a fan of always having bluetooth active on my phone, so I mainly get updates through Wifi and things of the sort and it works well for my purposes. The watch can connect via Bluetooth, Wifi, and NFC.
There are a few nifty features. I’m a bit disappointed that the “Tickle” feature from previous generations is no longer here, but the watch offers gestures (rotating the wrist), the “Function” button can be mapped to do various things, which is a great touch! The Power button also enables Google’s Assistant when you long press. The power button can not be re-mapped.
The vibrate is strong but not too strong. They found a happy medium.
The included charger is magnetic, so no misaligning the smartwatch for charging! Additionally, I was able to go from a 10% charge to 50% in about 30-minutes. A full 100% charge took about an hour-and-a-half. This is great because I’ve made it a habit of waking up, tossing the watch on the charger THEN showering and getting dressed before putting on the watch. This works out quite well! And I’ll admit that the face sits a bit high off my wrist, but I assume it’s due to the battery and heartbeat sensor.
The watch supports Payment options, which is great. It’s also water resistant, which was a plus for someone in S Florida, especially since it’s hurricane season.
Bouncing between apps is flawless and speedy! At one point, I made it a point to toggle through all the apps in one sitting. The watch kept up the entire time. Apps can also be downloaded/installed directly from the phone which is GREAT!
The built-in GPS works great and can be standalone. I’ve taking it on short jogs and it keeps the location quite well as well as my heartbeat and so on.
The band is lightweight and comfy as well. I was wary at first because I’ve had slow low quality bands. This band feels nice and quite pleasant. The band can also be removed and replaced with another band if desired
Notifications are snappy and easy to cycle through as well as respond to if needed. The entire experience is like using a smartphone with a tiny screen, but it’s not cumbersome. The overall implementation just makes sense from one end to the other.
Last but not least, the settings are simple and easy to run through. The options listed are what you’d expect to have and using them is very straight forward. Settings from Battery Saving mode, Always-On Display, Brightness, Watchfaces, Gestures, Apps, Personalization, Storage, and so on. It’s just a well thought out device.
For the price, this thing is absolutely great!

Tip: Disregard battery life for the first day, as the watch is likely doing a ton of updating and settings up. This was my battery issue on the first day.

I am a longterm Ticwatch user starting from the first ticwatch and currently using the Ticwatch Pro. When C2+ caemout, I wanted to gift it to my wife and ordered . It arrived 3 days before and this review is after 3 days of use by my wife.a rose gold version.

The watch is really gorgeous. Very finely created watch with elegant straps. The screen is super sharp and more or less edge to edge(a thin bezel is there, but barely noticeable as you can see in the photos). Android wear runs smoothly on snapdragon 2100 with 1 GB of RAM. There are rare sluggishness on continuous interaction with the screen but I think it will be solved by a software update.

The box contained the watch, charger, manuals and extra strap(black). The setup was smooth and like any other android wear watch. It had a decent amount of watch faces, but we picked more from google play.

She has been using it for 2 days at work and battery last 2 days(minimal used with occasional message answering call picking, weather checking etc). We are happy with the battery and performance of the watch and satisfied with the purchase(like other tic watch products).

Did not check features like sleep monitoring etc. They are pretty app specific and would be doing it in due course.

I feel this watch is a good choice for those looking for their next android wear and not really looking for a sporty look. Ticwatch Pro would be the choice for a sporty watch. From 2 days of experience, here are the conclusins

    Pro:
    – Really good looking
    – Good battery
    – Super sharp and nice screen(360 x 360)
    – Premium look and an extra strap
    – Almost all features available on a watch like NFC, GPS, Heart rate sensor etc.

    Con:
    – A little bulkier than expected
    – Occasional sluggishness in UI (hopefully be solved by an update)

I really wanted to like this watch, however I just couldn’t. The fact that the makers of this watch refused to put their existing sleep tracking software on it because of their newer model speaks volumes to how much they value their customers.

As far as wearability, as a woman it just isn’t there. The watch is very bulky and heavy. It’s very thick I would say over half an inch and just basically screams off of your wrist. It made wearing it impossible. Very clunky.

This watch is almost there in a lot of ways, but you can’t help it feeling like the makers gave up and just threw something together at the end. It’s disappointing that there are no options within their line for a woman. All of Ticwatch’s products seem to be geared towards men and have a very masculine feel. This product was no exception. It felt like a man’s watch slapped with some pink. Disappointing. Returned within a few days.
