The waterproof has not been an issue even though the case doesn’t feel as securely closed as I expect it. There is not much resistance to the closure and I’m not sure I trust it. The big problem is with the filter and getting air trapped between the filter and the lens when scuba diving. The color is not as true as with some other filters I have for the go pro 7 but it’s still good. The air trap is what makes it not useable. I’ll be going back to the other filter set.

In preparation for an upcoming dive trip to Hawaii, I originally ordered a different 3rd party dive housing for my GoPro Hero 9 Black. However, when I got it, I couldn’t find any clearly compatible underwater filters, so I returned it to purchase this Telesin case, which comes with 3 filters (at just slightly more than the cost of the other housing.) When the box arrived, one of the filters was clearly magenta, but the other two were a kind of shade of orange and appeared to be identical. I contacted the company and they responded very quickly. They told me that they didn’t have just a red filter in stock in the US, but could ship me one from China, but it would take about 2 weeks to arrive. Since I was leaving in about a week that would be too long. Instead, they shipped me a whole new kit – dive housing and filters, which arrived 2 days later. This time the non magenta filters were still similar, but there was a slight difference, although the 3rd filter is nothing as red as shown in the product photo. The company had also send a message telling me that the filter won’t be as red as in the product photo. So, A+ for customer service – the company responded quickly, decisively, and took good care of me. Also, the cost of this item, housing AND filters, is less than the cost of just filters from other providers. I do think that the filters should be clearly labeled, and until I dive with them, can’t tell if the “red” one is intensive enough, but this is a great deal on a product that will hopefully work well. FYI, the magenta filter is for FRESHWATER (greenish). The lighter reddish filter is for shallow saltwater (i.e. snorkelling) and the deeper reddish filter is for deeper saltwater (i.e. diving.)

I saw no change in coloration using the light red lens, and some improvement with the dark red lens. The case is only compatible with the screw it comes with, so its loose on all my mounts. I also got a little bit of water intrusion at 103 ft.

Perfect fit for gopro hero 9 ,,, product durability is very good easy to install and waterproofing is very good ,,, sometimes while you are using in rainy season some vapour will create inside the case because while recording on gopro some heat will be genarate inside the boz thats why vapour will create,its nothing to worry about.
