Very disappointed. The pictures and description make it seem as if you can have a middle length but you cannot. There is no way to tighten it so you only have the full length of 2.7 meters which is SO long. I will probably never use this. Wish I could return it

Yooooo you gotta get it then you can be thst weirdo at the park chasing your dog or loved one to get a shot that will make your friends ask “did you get a drone” while you sit back with a smirk on your face and tell them negitive!!! You need this if your have a 360 camera because it is invisible when not extended and it’s light and like say the insta360 one r it feels tough and even when shooting and getting in the shot it’s not awful to see and even then it’s only when your hold it absolutely as far away as you can really.

You get compact or full extension.
Is that a deal breaker? I’d hope not.
The price is amazing, take that insta360!

I did not try my gopro max yet but will make another review later.
** review update: the pole work good for a light purpose, i dont think its going to last long if your planing to do a lot of action with it ( extreme sport) It is a bit wobbly

Ordered for my Gopro Max.
I don’t like the build quality of the product and the actual product received is quite different than what is shown in the pictures. You need to rotate the extensions left/ right to lock or unlock and it doesn’t give good confidence whether they got locked properly.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t return it because I unpacked it quite late (that’s my fault) and return time period of 15 days got over.
I ordered another one selfie stick Manfrotto extreme and it has great bulid quality and good locking system.

This is just what I needed for getting up close to video fish before they swim away. The stick is pretty air tight so it floats when fully extended, almost effortless to hold. My only issue is the top could be screwed in with a longer screw to hold it place better. Sometimes it spins but I just tighten it up before use.

It is the required length okay but the material it is made of is thin and when it is extended it is very constantly shaking and flimsy. Definitely not suitable for taking photos. The most important thing while taking a photo is a steady camera. Not possible with this. I just took it out of it’s packing and I didn’t even bother to attach a camera as it was shaking without a camera.

Extends to 8 feet. That in itself is pretty cool.
It can only be fully retracted or extended; no in-between.
I bought it for my trip to the Philippines to record my snorkeling experiences. Unfortunately, I had to stop recording mid excursion because my GoPro was almost lost in the ocean. This stick is made very cheaply. I mean for the price, I knew it wasn’t gong to last forever, but hoped it would at least last 2 weeks.. Nope. I got 1 week of usage out of it before I had to throw it out and buy another one. The metal thread that holds the GoPro (screws in) somehow stripped. Luckily for me I noticed it was hanging off by a thread (literally) and removed it before it fell into the deep ocean.

It really get looong, and it works perfectly with gopro max, you really don’t see the stick when using 360 mode. The only problem is that look a little bit unstable and I’m scare of losing the camera because feels a little bit heavy. It also can be use with insta max and other types of cameras

Very disappointed with this. The selfie stick uses friction lock as opposed to twist lock…on each of the telescopic sections.
That means you have to use the selfie stick at full length all the time……and there is very limited stability at full length/ boom.
If you add weight to the GoPro the selfie stick becomes very unstable……and you need to add weight, because you need an external microphone…. because this stick being hollow and very rigid carbon fibre transmits awful and loud noise to the camera and it’s internal microphone…..Audio on any video recordings you make is terrible as a result.
I’m sorry I bought this. It’s very flawed.

Way cheaper than insta’s version, but under 10 feet. also need to shave down foam at the end of stick or it ends up in the shot. No twist and lock, only had a week so can’t tell how good it will be with some hours on it. Overall way better value than the $90 one from Insta.

I wanted something for 360 photography and this is the same as Insta360s branded gear. However, its just too bendy to use with light 360 cameras where you are looking to create that invisible selfie stick effect. If you just want a general selfie stick it might do the job but I wouldn’t expect it to last very long. I decided to send mine back more or less straight away for a full refund

I also own the first generation and use these often for fake drone shots while hiking or biking. This new model feels better in hand, compresses down to be shorter and fits in pack better, and has much less flex than the other one which is great. It also adjusts to various lengths much easier. It might be slight more work to compress back down but that is mostly due to the extra functionality. Overall I am very happy with this. In the picture, you can see the shadow but not the stick using my Insta360 One R camera.

Se me han ocurrido algunas ideas y fue posible realizarlas gracias a este increíble accesorio. Viene a nosotros con una bolsa de transporte que lo cubre, es bastante compacto y ultraligero. Formado por diferentes secciones podemos optar por bloquear la caña en diferentes longitudes.
El principal problema de estos palos es una flexión excesiva con la máxima extensión. Debo decir que esto se comporta realmente bien. Preciso que lo uso con insta360 one x2 no muy ligero. Este es un punto importante a favor porque dice mucho sobre el diseño y la calidad de construcción del palo.
El agarre es genial, la muñequera presente en la base también es muy útil, nunca me resbalé.
Como creador de contenido es algo que definitivamente te vendrá bien en varias ocasiones, solo piensa en todas esas áreas donde no puedes volar con drones. Si se usa bien y se acompaña de una buena action cam, nos permite crear metraje similar a drones a varios metros de altura.
También hay un hilo en la base para colocar un trípode y, por supuesto, el accesorio clásico de GoPro en la parte superior.
No he encontrado ningún punto negativo en este período de uso, veremos cuál será el rendimiento en los próximos meses. ¡Seguro que será un accesorio que a menudo tendré conmigo y lo seguiré usando en varias ocasiones! En caso de problemas, actualizaré la revisión, como se mencionó anteriormente me parece realmente sólida y estoy seguro de que durará en los meses.
En última instancia, se lo recomiendo a aquellos que estén considerando comprar un palo de este tipo. Desde mi punto de vista vale la pena todo el dinero gastado, si se usa bien nos permite crear contenido increíble.
Cuando está cerrado, hace ruido, las extensiones se mueven.
