Great traditional fondue pot. This is an open-flame type, you will need to use your own gel fuel. So far, the pot does not get any stains from the fuel nor does the coating peel off. Looks good!

It’s expensive but it’s fantastic. The size and build quality is great. The pot is large and heavy made out of enameled cast iron. It’s large enough to handle cheese fondue as well as hot pot. I warm it up directly on the stove, you could probably put it in the oven if you wanted. The thick cast iron dissipates heat so the center isn’t burning everything and it stays hot for a while. All the other components are great to, I mean for that price it better be.
It’s for sure a luxury. I’ve seen cheaper sets in stores that would do the job but they’re not quite as satisfying to handle. I think you are getting a fair deal by getting this one and I would not hesitate to offer it as a gift.

I used to live in Switzerland and knew that’s good cheese fondue demands a heavy cast-iron pot. This ceramic-coated product is the real deal, the very same as used in the best Swiss restaurants. I can’t say enough good things about this genuine made in Switzerland cheese fondue set!

Absolutely love this set. The pot is pretty big, so you have the option to make a lot of cheese fondue for a large party, which was what I needed! Another major key point for me was that it was super convenient to use — you can place the pot on a stove top to melt the cheese first and then transfer that same pot onto the burner for serving. Note that the set doesn’t come with any fuel, so be prepared to purchase that separately if you need to use right away. I was completely satisfied with this set, I just wish I could have bought it for cheaper! If you are not in a rush to purchase this item, it may be worth researching to find a cheaper price for it.

About three inches of the red enamel was chipped off, and it was not from transportation as there was nothing in the bag. Also the base was poorly made and would not hold up after a few times. Sent it back. Do not recommend. For the price it should be very good quality and not made in China

The size of the pot is more suitable for families rather than couples. It would look almost empty for two. I like the feel of the heavy cast iron and the cheese melted beautifully. However, I would not use it for meat fondues that require oil to be kept hot on the table. The flame burner is similar to any fondue set I have seen in the market but it really makes a difference if the proper gel is used so you just remove the cover and it fits perfectly in the burner (hassle-free). Overall I am happy with the set so far.

Hacer Fondue para mas personas que tu pareja, es importante cuando invitas amistades a casa. Esta marca es Suiza y tiene el tamaño ideal para hacer Fondue para 4/5 personas, excelentes materiales y acabados. Para los puristas tal vez no sea la mejor elección ya que el material es hierro fundido y no porcelana como la clásicas de antaño. Fuera de este detalle, estamos muy contentos con la compra y la experiencia de entrega Amazon.
