The case works a heck of a lot better than the SpyTec Tracker 300 series in Canada. The circular magnetic mounts do not inspire confidence but the case actually does work very well as long as you can find enough actual bare metal for a proper flush mount. I would recommend the case 100% but if you are not in the USA I would avoid the tracker until they make the 30Ma functional north of the border and hopefully work out the ongoing issues. (My understanding is that in the USA the tracker works very well – but we have only used it north of the border).

We were using a spot trace …but even at updates of 2.5 mins extreme track was not enough we needed updates every minute or close to that to be able to track an asset. Spot trace shows stops ….sometimes ,,,,this thing shows all the stops along a route …as well as the direction of travel so this thing hands down has spot beat. The mobile app could use some work but other than that heck for the price I should have bought 3 of them …I might still actually.

First attempt to remove from the car, the magnet broke off-along with a piece of plastic. I requested a replacement and no one has contacted me.

I’m using it to keep spare keys under my truck. It holds a large key fob for my Ram 1500 no problem. I’ve added two rare earth magnets, and this baby is going nowhere! Great product.

Do not buy. I received a cheep version that requires a screwdriver to open and close.

The case itself seals good, but the magnet fastener is too poorly designed and snapped off the first time I used it.

did not receive as shown in pictures. the unit received is of cheaper quality and not with latch style locking, instead it has a side cover that gets screwed in place. sellers that do not provide what they post should be banned

Perfect for what it was intended to do. Magnets work great & hold firm if u choose a snug spot. With the GL-300 inside, it locks a little tight, but u could always take out one of the pads if u wanted to. In any case I highly recommend this item. Well worth the price. Can be used to store an extra key or whatever u want to hide without anyone knowing.

It is very sturdy and the magnet seem good.
Haven’t tried to use it other than testing magnetic force with another of the same item.
