You can’t go wrong with Spigen Quality products. Fits like a glove. Amazing Design, Superb colour! This is not the fist Spigen case I have purchased. I had a their brand cases since iPhone 6 came out and until now … absolutely no regrets. THANK YOU SPIGEN FOR YOUR EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY PRODUCTS!!! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Why buy a thin phone only to buy a case like this and beef it up? Well, this was the exact same question that I had in my mind once my phone sat comfortably in this rubber encasing. I absolutely hate the sheerness of the case. So, why have I given a 4-star rating?
The case looks damn good with the triangular grooves on its rear side. It also has ridges on either side for better grip. Buttons are independent of the rubber shell and provide a good click feel. The raised lip on the border protects the display but who would put their phones down with the display facing downwards?
Anyways, be warned that this case significantly helps dust and other minute particles sit comfortably in the extravagantly carved free spaces between the phone and the case. If you are on a quest for dust, begin from the camera module!
However, drop protection is fantastic. I have dropped my new phone quite a few times already with not a single dent or scratch. Well, what do you know? I got both a Spigen tempered glass and this case protecting my phone. But the real reason why I am writing this review is for what happened yesterday.
So, I was just heading back home after my office. I was on phone and riding my 2-wheeler. Obviously, I met with an accident (of sorts). I very cleverly dropped my phone and maneuvered the vehicle. I was saved but not my 1-week old phone. Or so I thought.
Thanks to the case, my phone survived a horrific accident and came out unscathed. I had to replace the tempered glass but the case? Well, I am still rocking this case on my phone.
Drop protection? Check.
Bulkiness? Check.
Scratch protection? Check.
Thinner wallet? Check.

Unlike other Spigen cases I have this one felt rough and seemed to make my skin feel dry.
Rather like holding something made of chalk.
Fit and design were very good but the feel made it unusable for me.

I’ve had Spigen cases on my last two iPhones and they’ve been great. Got fed up with cheaper cases being either hard rigid plastic that cracks if you drop it, or silicone cases that tear when you take it off the phone.
This case (just like my previous 2) is made of a hard but flexible plastic that doesn’t pick up finger prints or attract dirt like silicone, and has a ‘plastic’ feel rather than a soft touch like silicone. I find soft touch cases get stuck on my pocket when taking them in and out. This has none of that. Plenty of grip due to the textured edges and back.
Despite being reasonably rigid there are no issues fitting the case as the plastic is still flexible enough that you don’t feel like you’re causing damage to the phone.
It has distinctly cut out buttons rather than just indentations on the case (as the Spigen Hybrid has unfortunately moved to), so the button presses are nice and crisp.
My only real issue was the availability! No fault of the product though.
Due to the delivery estimate on this I had to order a different case to ensure my new iPhone 12 Pro was protected on launch day (my fault for ordering late). The ‘soft touch’ case can be seen on the left having picked up dust, fluff, and fingerprints over the 2 days I used it for. The Spigen case has none of these issues.

I don’t not recommend buying this phone case. The case itself is sturdy and it seems like it could protect the phone well if it falls however the case is very slippery and you can’t hold the phone without it slipping. It feels as tho there is zero grip and you should expect it to slide every couple seconds. If you want a case that will annoy you then proceed to buy this one however if you don’t like your phone slipping out of your hand then I suggest finding a different case

This case DOES work with the MagSafe charger. You can’t hang the phone from it like the Apple case with extra magnets, but it holds on just fine.
Update: after 2 weeks, all three of us agreed the cases are too slippery and we have had a few drops. Decided to return them. too bad, Spigen makes good products, just not this one.

It is easy to keep clean and does not show any fingerprints.
This is a matte finish case with tonnes of grips.
The sides have groovy stripes that make it super-grippy.
The back is textured which make it look nice while adding more grip.
Works well with wireless chargers.
I recommend this case.

I had one of these with an iPhone 12 mini and it was perfect for it, however with the iPhone 12 I now use the bigger size wasn’t quite as good. It’s a nice robust piece of kit but with the bigger phone it just makes it a bit bulkier and that bit more difficult to hold.
It’s a bit slippery in the hand and I had to swop to a spigen thin fit instead which is less bulkier and more secure in the hand.
Saying that it still could be for you, it fits the iPhone 12 perfectly, doesn’t affect screen protector placement and the buttons and cut outs are perfect, the buttons are very tactile and responsive, so it still is a good case, unfortunately it just wasn’t for me.

I purchased this case as a cheaper alternative to the way over priced MagSafe Apple silicone case hoping it could deliver. Sadly, I was a bit mislead. Sure you can wireless charge with the case on, but MagSafe should allow for 15W fast charging, and should allow for securely attaching the accessory with the strong magnets. With the case installed, the phone can not be safely mounted and will not even hold phone’s weight.
If you’re just looking for a simple black case though, this case works great. Very slim and still allows for Qi charging or MagSafe charging.

I think this is a great iPhone case. I had the same case for my iPhone X, dropped it many times and it never broke. I trust it will protect my 12 Pro 👍

Review by Anonymous UserI was curious to try this case as ive loved Spigen other ones. it has aa very nice comfortable grip to hold in your hand, feels very nice. Very good protection for my iphone 12 pro and fits flawlessly with the spigen tempered glass screen protector and back camera lens cover protectors 🙂
