I searched the website for hours, trying to find the perfect case for my EWC12-248 Enerwatt 12Volts battery charger and its cables. Did not want to squeeze it, neither to use a case too large since I have so many things to bring with me when going in the woods at the camp, space is a matter. See picture! I just needed to remove the protective foam provided for the original use of this case since I do not need them.
I bought 3 Smatree cases for the first time this week, for different purposes (bought also a small one for my external battery and cables, this medium one for my 12V battery charger and cables and a larger one for my surfacebook + Ipad when travelling) and I am so happy of my choice, they are just what I expected! Solid, nice looking!

I got this to consolidate my DJI Pocket’s accessories. I chose this one because good reviews and it seemed the interior was well thought out. I removed the foam inserts, and placed a bunch of stuff in each, according to the card, and the advert on Amazon. Seemed awesome, until I got a phone call… everything looked great! Then I picked up the case. The zipper opens on the “wrong” side, i.e., across from the handle. Thankfully nothing fell out. Bottom line: would I buy this again? YES. But be careful. Think of an attaché case, any gear case. Handles are typically placed where the case opens. This reduced my rating.

I like this case and its quality. But, knowing what I know now, I would not buy it. I have had to move to a different case (just a standard photography bag). The problem is that with the Osmo Pocket, you really need more space to store all the accessories you need. And if you keep any accessories on the camera, it won’t fit in the custom slot within the case. If you are sure you just want to carry the camera in the original slip case, this will work. And if you just want to carry the “selfie stick” and a few accessories, this may the option for you. I prefer to keep the dial and the phone mount on my camera so I don’t have to assemble it every time I pull it out. And this case is just not built for me.

It had all the important crevices needed for OSMO pocket and its accessories, in a case that clearly protects them well, but is also a great looking case to have (as shown in product information photos). I would definitely recommend this as an essential item.

This case is very restrictive to the accessories you can have. I bought it because I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated case for the Osmo pocket. But you can only put accessories which fit into the custom cutouts. There was no where for me to put my mic, light or holder, plus I have a super clamp for mounting versatility. Instead I bought a Pelican case instead, much more reliable and I can put all of my accessories in it for only a slightly larger case.

The handle is sewn on with the label inverted, if you open the case based on the writing, the contents of the case will fall out.
Poor design or shady workmanship?

The cutouts for the micro SD cards are not very tight and are over 1.5″ deep. When, not if, the cards go all the way in they will be extremely difficult to remove without the aid of tweezers or something similar. Same is true for the smartphone adapters. Otherwise, the case seems to be ok. After discussions with the manufacturer, it was agreed that they could easily make the Micro SD Card holders large enough to accommodate The Micro SD card adapter and not make the slits quite so deep. Most Micro SD Cards come with the adapter which makes it less likely to lose or misplace the small SD cards. Based on this I raised my rating to 4 stars.

This is a nice little case that holds everything (minus the Extension Rod and Underwater Case). When I ordered this case I was expecting it to be somewhat flimsy (I mean really, it’s $20). When it arrived, I was VERY pleased to see that it is a sturdy case, with nice foam cores. It holds the Wifi module, Accessory module, Controller Wheel module, Osmo, Osmo battery case, and has room for a tripod, phone / Osmo holder, cords, cards, etc, etc. Everything I need for my Osmo Pocket is inside this case, and well protected. Naturally, I wouldn’t send it through the airlines luggage handlers, but for taking around on a week vacation getting bumped around, it worked perfectly!
I highly highly recommend this bag!
