I took a chance on these based on previous Skullcandy purchases and the price. I didn’t expect top end quality compared to the higher end products out there, but I am still disappointed in these.

Packaging & setup was extremely easy, no problems with pairing.

    Battery life is good.

    Cons:
    – Bulkier than expected, even with the small size buds in
    – Had a hard time staying in my ear
    – Command buttons are very stiff, I could only activate them by pressing hard which put good pressure in my head. Difficult to use after that.

    Returning and researching other options..

I wanted to love these headphones, decent fit, “just enough” battery life (for the gym), somewhat comfortable and decent sound (I also use a set of BeatsX and Bose Soundsport original).

The problem is the connection. Using them at home, with my phone on the desk, or at the gym with my phone on the treadmill (iPhone 11) I had constant drop outs on the right ear. No matter what I did – I always had dropouts on the right ear. The left would continue playing, only on the right. A quick Google search turned up multiple users saying the same thing.

I can forgive quite a few things in wireless earbuds, but connection stability is not one of them.

A great product. Great treble, bass and mid. Great in ear fit with the variable silicon ear plugs and doesn’t fall off during almost all physical movements. They only fall off if you shake your head crazy hard.
Overall a great buy and probably the best product of Skullcandy.
The only drawback I find is that to increase/decrease the volume the buttons have to pressed twice continually. Would have been better if the control was by continued pressing of the button.

    edit:
    My case stopped charging

I would say these are decent sound and bass wise, when they work. On the original pair I got, the right ear bud constantly crackled and lost connection. I thought it was the Bluetooth connection on my phone, which was older. I got a new Pixel phone, and the same thing kept occurring. Then I thought, maybe it’s my thick skull — the right ear bud is a slave to the left one. Then, my son and a friend both tried them out (on a new iPhone and a new Samsung). They reported the same problem. Sent them in for warranty replacement, and more than two months later received a replacement. Still. The. Same. Problem. Waste of time and money and I won ‘t be buying Skull Candy products ever again.

    Absolute Garbage. DO NOT PURCHASE
I’m incredibly disappointed by this product.
I’ve had better success with off brands
    Battery sucks, sounds tinny.
    Connectivity sucks.
The left ear was making strange noises and actually gave me a small shock!! YES A SHOCK.
Thought I would splurge and spend a bit more money in a brand name.
    DO NOT PURCHASE

I received the ear buds, and there was this high pitch noise every time after I pause, or the gap of silence between each song. It was very annoying! I decided to contact the warranty department because a note in the box said to contact them instead of returning it to amazon. They warranty department asked me to send it back AT MY COST WITH TRACKING. I thought it was no big deal, since return it to amazon would cost both companies, but the return shipping ended up being almost half of what I purchased the earbuds when it was one sale. Totally not worth it. Next time if the manufacturer asks me to paid for the return shipping, I’ll just return it to amazon, since they’re more reliable and always have great customer service.

Muy buen producto, llego todo bien y buen sonido, lo malo es que a las dos semanas dejo de funcionar uno de ellos. Pedí mi reembolso y regreso el material, es una pena.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting my review. So after 3 months of use I can say that the earbuds are ok, not amazing, just ok. Sometimes one ear disconnects from the Bluetooth. And only the left earbud works on calls so I only wear them to hear music of watch netflix (very uncomfortable to call btw and mic doesn’t have that much of a reach plus it doesn’t cancel any other sound so the other person can barely hear you but hears your surroundings)

Audio wise the earbus are ok they don’t fall off my ears and i use them for walking and cooking, even with my tablet. Sometimes they take a few seconds more connecting on Bluetooth but it’s ok. The sound is nice and they dont bother my ears. They work okay almost all the time so that’s why 3 stars. I mean at east they are not $200.

Skullcandy’s Sesh True Wireless Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones are a great budget-friendly option for iPhone and Android users alike. (Really giving Earpods a run for their money!) They aren’t complicated to charge or pair and are good for both men and women.

I found that the sound from these earbuds was remarkably good. Pounding bass and depth of sound was an unexpected surprise considering the price point. I own three other pairs of wireless Bluetooth in-ear headphones and these are better than two of the three pairs, both of which are more expensive than these.

The fit can be customized by using the included eargels. I had to go one size down from the Medium size that appeared to be the default size on the pair I received. The initial fit was very good for noise canceling (even at low volumes), but my ears hurt from the fit after less than 20 minutes. A little less noise reduction with the smaller eargels, but definitely more comfortable for me.

When using the controls on the Sesh I did find some ear discomfort at times as I needed to depress the earbud (click it) and had to do so with a medium (not light) touch. This wasn’t terrible, but I think users who frequently like to change their volume settings, answer calls or fast forward to their favorite songs, may find this issue less than favorable.

The Sesh buds didn’t stick out much from my ears and looked fairly flush, which I liked. This was better than most wireless buds I’ve tried and it seemed to help with noise cancelation too.

NOTE: The true test for the fit will be at the gym when sweating and movement attempt to dislodge these buds. I’ll update the review with further use.

When fully charged in the included case the Sesh in-ear headphones offer up to 3 hours of use. The case recharges the earbuds and with that capability, you have up to 10 hours of charge for your Sesh earbuds.

The earbuds snap into the case in such a way that you feel them connect (it’s magnetic) and seat in the charger. Closing the magnetic lid on the charger there is a snap that indicates it has magnetically and securely closed. There are 4 LED lights that will illuminate on the front of the case when the case and earbuds are fully charged and connected via USB to a power source. Those lights go out when the case is unplugged.

You can charge your Skullcandy Sesh earbuds in their case via USB ports on computers, power banks and via a USB connection in your car. The included cable is very short, but you probably have compatible extras from other gadgets available to you and if not, a longer cable can be obtained for less than five dollars.

I liked Sesh a lot, and I can see where those who haven’t ever experienced wireless earbuds would find the user-experience out of the box much less intimidating than some others. And since Sesh was created with that audience in mind, they should want the User Manual to be a good supplement to the product. Unfortunately, this is where I think Skullcandy dropped the ball.

The included sheet of instructions, er… User Manual was immediately confusing to me and I’m a tech geek who lives for this stuff! Thankfully, the Skullcandy website was very helpful in that it provided video tutorials and more information than the included sheet did. The Skullcandy Help Center has a video walkthrough that I highly recommend instead of the included Sesh User Guide.

😎 My Final Thoughts on Sesh:

Whether you are a long-time wireless Bluetooth in-earphone user or a first time user, Skullcandy Sesh is worth your consideration.

The sound is great. The fit is good. Battery life is good and the buds fit well and charge quickly in the charging case as long as you take care to make sure they are seated properly and the lid is secure. The controls are easy to use after a little practice, Sesh uses the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, the earbuds are dirt and sweat-resistant, and their two-year limited warranty is better than most.

I wasn’t happy with the included directions for set up and use, and depressing the controls on the earbuds took a little more pressure than expected and caused discomfort over time. It is for these reasons I give this product 4 stars.

Overall, I really like Sesh and I’m already thinking about giving these as gifts this holiday season as I know my friends and family will enjoy them too!

UPDATE: 9/18/19 – used these at the gym today and while there was no issue with the fit, the right earbud did disconnect from my iPhone 8 Plus three times. The earbuds reconnected quickly, but time will tell if this is an ongoing issue or just a fluke. My iPhone was in my pocket at the time these disconnects happened.

The sound is crystal clear! I had to change the rubber ear things for the smallest ones so they wouldn’t fall out of my ears. They are easy to set up. The instructions are easy. They are written on the box.

5 dias
    Usandolo 4h diarias.

I don’t usually rave about products, but I have bought these earbuds twice because the ease of use, sound quality and the least amount of frustration while using. I see that there seems to be many people complaining about this product but I haven’t had any problem that they are stating. Recharge time is quicker than expected, listening to music all day and then after 30 mins of using the charge case, I can go again for about the same amount of time. If you are looking for product that is worth the money this is it.
