Look no further. Seriously BUY THIS VACUUM! This is all you will ever need. I haven’t used a Dyson but dont care. This vacuum actually does what it says and I dont have to sweep after I vacuum! It sucked up an entire cup full of dirt and dog hair just off of the area rug under my kitchen table! It tried to duck up my mat at the door so I had to have my son stand on the mat to hold it down. It is THAT powerful! I was speechless for about 15 minutes as I cleaned my floors. I’m just in complete awe. I’m 37 years old and never knew I could be this darned excited about a vacuum cleaner. It puts all other to shame. I will promote this wherever I go and to anyone who will listen. This is like winning the lottery. Haha

This vacuum is great… for small areas… I was super skeptical of it having any power but because the head gets it’s own power it works almost, if not as good as full size vacuums. It’s really light and easy to move around or ready high spots. I’m super happy with the purchase for the price.
In the interest of full disclosure. There are 2 semi negative things. 1) the power cord is a weird length and you can’t wind it up on the storage hooks tightly and use the clip on the plug to secure it. You either have to wind it really really tightly which is bad or leave the last loop loose. And 2) the reason I said for small areas at the start is because the vent for the motor is directly facing you. So as your vacuuming you get a blast of crazy hot air in your face or arms. Where ever it’s facing.
Also. Not a big deal but it hangs on the wall from the head side and not the motor side.
All this being said, my carpets look brand new and I would totally recommend this to someone. In fact. I haven’t had it out of the box for more than 2 hours now and already told my mother it’s great.

This thing is powerful! I’m happy with the fact that it has a cord and not a battery that only lasts 30 minutes like the Dyson. I’ve used the Dyson stick before, and this is comparable, but the shark is slightly heavier which honestly is not an issue. I know Dyson just came out with one that now lasts an hour on one charge, but that’s still not good enough for the 3x the price. I was purposely looking for something that is slim and not battery operated like my Roomba and can get into every nook and cranny, especially with a cat in the house. I mulled it over for a few months to do some research and ultimately decided on the Shark Rocket. So happy with this purchase!!
First picture is after only doing half of one bedroom after the Roomba tried to do its part (omg disgusting what was left behind)
Second picture is of filter locations, not only is there a filter for the normal vacuum section but also a filter for the outgoing air so nothing is blown back into your home or face. All washable! Third picture is how little room it takes up in the closet, stores nicely and perfect for my apartment. I’ll be keeping it when moving to a house since it’s nice to have handy on whichever floor.
*UPDATE: just moved to a 4bed/4bath house, this thing outdoes the Kenmore central vac and it’s so much simpler to move around the house up and down stairs with ease. The central vac is annoyingly clunky to drag around like a freaking anaconda on my back now that I’ve had the simplicity of the shark rocket. 100% happy I bought this vacuum.
*Update: Bought this vacuum for my workplace and it’s great for vacuuming from ceilings to every nook and cranny in the store! (Last photo, one swipe cleaned off the tile)

Excellent built quality, excellent suction, smart bagless dust system, long cable, fairly light. Would be perfect if not for one annoying fact: it won’t stand upright by itself. I am always moving furniture around to clean the rooms, so whenever I stop vacuuming to move something, always need to lay it down or lean against something. Very annoying, if the base was a bit heavier or wider, that wouldn’t happen.

Best Amazon purchase. Amazing suction for such prize. I read the reviews on Amazon prior to purchase and its was apt with the product. Great product, great design, not as heavy as people described. I will definely buy it as a house warming gift.
Update: it stopped working after 4months. I am so sad about this. I used it to vacuum where we have lots of shoes in the house, not sure if it’s the sand on the floor. Now it just makes a low sound and drops dirt on the floor. I am not sure what to do. My return window is closed as well
