A tool to get it right from the start. It is digital with a touchscreen, works smoothly. I get the incident lightexposure which does not
react to colors, blacks and whites, so it gives the perfect exposure all the time. Simple to customise, and navigate through the
functions. The only con is the prise, whith the optional viewfinder very useful for distant objekts that generate light, it becomes
very expensive.

The kit arrived and was well boxed and packaged. Was a little surprised that the two AAA batteries required for a £300 device were ‘optional extras’ to be acquired separately. DTS software is basic to say the least but works well. Annoyingly, the required USB cable to connect the metre to the computer is not supplied either and has to be bought separately. I used the meter ‘out of the box’ to measure ambient light in several scenarios as a quick test and the exposures provided were pretty much spot on. Calibration would have likely made it perfect for my 1DX MKii but without the damn cable I can only guess. The touch screen worked well but the adding of the provided anti glare film detracted from the touch experience and required a good amount of finger jabbing rather than just sliding the finger up and down.
All in all I am pleased with the device which does what I want. Let down by lack of necessary components which I found frustrating.
L.T1820 –
Easy of use and high repeatable accuracy. Very configurable light meter in a small form factor. It is a finger print magnet device, on the screen due to touch operations and glossy black front plate. The older dial format light meter which I have a L-608 model may be a better choice than the modern touch screen one in my opinion.

It is an excellent product the seller was very good but I return the product I am going to upgrade to a higher model with a few more features but everything was great.

J’ai attendu qu’il redescende en prix à 270€ (1 seule journée) pour l’acheter car je l’avais vu l’été Dernier à ça prix là. Le plus : avec le flash, c’est génial et à chaque coup une bonne exposition. Le moins : en extérieur, après plusieurs essais, je fais mieux avec la vue de mon histogramme pour être bien exposer. Je ne regrette pas mon achat, mais soyez vigilant pour l’avoir a un prix raisonnable.

Está muy bien el producto, muy intuitivo de manejar. Puedes crear un perfil de tu cámara e incluso así controlar aquellos puntos del encuadre que quedan fuera del rango dinámico de la cámara. La respuesta táctil no es la de un móvil con pantalla capacitiva, pero es correcta para el uso que se requiere de ella.
