I bought this and hung two on our plastic tree, and for the first week you would get a hint of the scent. Not strong, but at least there was something. But after the first week, to ten days, there is no scent at all. I’m sure if I stuck me head in the tree and put my nose several inches from the stick, I would smell something….I’m not asking for it to scent the entire room, but I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for people nearby to smell it. Meanwhile, I just bought a scented “christmas tree” candle and it works much better, scenting the entire room and hallway. So basically…a waste of money.

Following other users reviews, White Winter Fir is definitely the ‘flavour’ to go for if you want something resembling the smell of a real Christmas tree. A little expensive, the smell subtle but very pleasant. I can’t vouch for how long these will last – currently using three in the tree with three held in reserve. Would buy again.
