Surprised this piece is getting bad reviews. Everything came well packaged and the assembly wasn’t too difficult. It was accomplished by myself and my little sister (who had never picked up a screw driving in her entire life — which I didn’t find out until she showed up to help me build 😄😅).
It looks absolutely gorgeous and is sturdy. The ONLY complaint that I have is that the doors dont quite meet in the middle… there’s about half an inch gap that bothers me but not enough to get rid of. Other than that it’s a 5 star cabinet. 😊

We needed a cat-proof cabinet to store my husbands movie collection, out cat destroys everything! This cabinet is very sturdy and great quality for furniture made of compressed wood. I put most of the cabinet together myself. I needed help sliding in the back panel (the panel would slide out of the grooves very easily) and hanging the doors. Took about 2.5 hours from unboxing to finish. I like that the cabinet came with stickers to camouflage the CAM lock screws. The doors are a smidge uneven, if I mess with the hinges a little I could probably fix it, but it doesn’t bother me too much. This piece is very sturdy, no wobble at all. I am very happy with my purchase and now our Blu-ray cases will not be torn to shreds!

The amount of flaws is absolutely unbelievable, first one door was not glued at the corners so the glass was loose and falling out, no matter the amount of fine adjusting to the hinges the doors do not line up on top and bottom, large gaps around the doors and in-between. Predrilled holes were crooked and one was blown out, lacking the feet, splitting of the mdf around routing for back panel, etc. See pics. I spoke with manufacturer directly they did not believe me so had to send 17 pics of cabinet from all sides, they sent replacement parts but obviously did not look at the pics they sent two new sides and the feet but the sides were not the main issue, the unglued unfinished door panels were the issue, they did not send new doors. Completely useless support. heads up doors are last step so you dont know how bad it is till the end, then spend another hour taking it apart to box back up to return. Waste of time and money i returned it.

I’ve bought and built many Sauder furniture pieces over the years from very large L-shaped office desks, book shelves, night stands and TV stands, and this display case lives up to their continued quality. I bought two of these for my dining room for storage which currently consists of light oak furniture and hardwood floors. While it doesn’t match perfectly it’s pretty darn close. The size and dimensions were perfect for my situation and once carefully assembled these are extremely sturdy with no wobble. I was very impressed with the high quality hinge brackets that come with these since easy adjustment of any gaps or drag in the doors can be corrected. The door glass is also tempered and very thick. Both cabinets arrived undamaged and were very well packed. Other than consistent Sauder quality, the primary reason I’m a repeat customer is their manufacturing is done in Archbold Ohio rather than China.

I ordered the sauder cabinet through Amazon. I received it with the A and B side labeled, but they were the same side. So I was unable to put the cabinet together. This was delivered May 4th.
I reached out and waited the 5-7 business days for the correct side. This finally arrived and … it was the same side again…
I reached out, again, and again waited the 5-7 business days for the correct side. Today (May 20th) it arrived and I opened it holding my breath and …. it’s the same side AGAIN.
I have attached pictures because honestly I think I’m going insane. Maybe I’m missing something but the line is supposed to line up on all sides I’m order to slide the back panel in. With the sides I’ve been sent (3 times now) there is no feasible way to do this.
I’ve attached pictures because I legitimately think I’m losing my mind. Sauder customer service when I’ve called has been nice but holy moly. I don’t know if this is a quality issue or these people are running the most annoying and least cost effective scam ever.
I’m even more upset because I love the look of the cabinet. The pieces that are together seem sturdy. It seems like it’s solid quality. It’s just this whole experience has made me want to set the damn thing on fire!
