This watch is particularly sleek and modern looking. The UI is intuitive, and watch’s permormance is snappy, and the sensors are fairly accurate. The body composition sensor is fairly accurate within 1-2%, and gives consistent readings upon multiple checks.

My only gripe so far is the just OK battery life; its lasted just over 1 day for me before needing a top up. However, I’ve only had it for 2 days, and I believe the watch learns your use patterns over time and optimizes the battery accordingly.

Easily the best smartwatch on Android, especially if you use a samsung phone.

Heart rate is ok during sleep, but terribly inaccurate during exercise. And yes- I tried all the hints like moving it up on the arm and having it as snug as practical. Spo2 is all over the place. Saw a range between 82% and 96% wunder pretty much the same conditions. The battery barely makes it through the day. Lots of features are unavailable if you don’t own a Samsung phone. The display is beautiful though and it fits comfortably on the hand.

Works perfect with Samsung devices. great os and good storage ram and decent processing power. Has loads of features. A bit expensive and battery life is lacking. Don’t expect it to last much more than a day. Comes with wireless charger. good for overnight charging. Would def recommend for Samsung users. Solid option for other androids. Terrible choice for phones ofc.

Ordered two replacements and this watch is overpriced, complete garbage. Horrible battery life. Very mediocre. I wanted to love this watch…. Software update completely factory resets watch and takes 30-45 minutes to reboot. Buy something else!!! Don’t waste your time.

While android wear is a welcome addition to Galaxy watch (smother than my GWA2 and the screen is better), the battery life is very short (GWA2 was better at this), $400 is overpriced (wonder why the watch is already available used less than one month after it came out?) and good luck if you’re trying to call Samsung to get actual help (and if you select the FRENCH option, someone will still answer in ENGLISH).

Not supporting that kind of practices and will return the watch and get a better one for the price. This should be a $250 watch. Also missing ECG (which works only with a Samsung phone anyway)

Edit : how is it in discount less than one month after it came out? If you really want this watch, buy used or get a discount. Bought a ticwatch pro 3 and it’s better than gw4

  7. Mmm Mmm

Bought to replace my Fossil Gen5 which suffered serious battery duration issues. The Watch4 doubles the Gen5 duration WITH wifi and GPS on! It does take some workaround to be fully WearOS and I still can’t get Google Fit to work 100%, but overall, it’s a very good and good-looking product. The screen is sharp and bright, the OS is quite responsive, and the promised and upcoming Google/Samsung WearOS update should fix the minor compatibility issues.

Unlike Fitbit, Samsung does not require a premium membership so you get all the features the watch offers straight out of the box.👍
I am very happy just make sure to get the 44mm watch with the larger battery as was unaware that the smaller 40mm also has a smaller battery.
Tracking seems good, same as my previous charge 4, seemless integration with Galaxy phones, lots of customization, however be prepared to charge the watch daily, YMMV depending on how you use the watch.
    Overall very happy.

Update: it has been over a week of wearing and using the watch…the battery life is not the best (compared to Fitbit charge 4). with the AOD turned off, notification off, raise wrist to wake and touch screen to wake set to off, wifi off, you will get maybe 25 hours off use.
