SO COOL! I have been buying pineapple like crazy. I will admit it does waste a bit… but what I’ve done is I’ll spiral this into the fruit (leave it there), then cut off the skin, and cut off that fruit too so I don’t waste any.

I bought this as my wife really enjoys pineapple in her yogourt for breakfast and it is so inexpensive to buy a whole pineapple versus cans of precut. I tried for the first time and was expecting to have to use some muscle to make it cut at the same time being careful to not break the device. Wrong! Just following the instructions it cut through the entire pineapple like it was butter. So simple to use. Afterwards it was a breeze to clean and put away. If you’re not sure it will work out your mind at ease. It works perfectly! Buy it!

This Peeler replaced a Lakeland unit, when the cutting blade sheared off – after 20 years or so. I would have gone for a Lakeland Peeler again, had they been available. This unit processes a pineapple O.K. – in fact it has a better (slightly smaller) diameter blade/chopper than the old Lakeland unit, which means you have less dressing of the outer pineapple chunks. The unit does not feel quite as sturdy as the old Lakeland peeler, but the major downside is the way the blade is attached to the central stem. It uses small clasps which get pineapple stuck in them and are a pain to clean. I am headed back to Lakeland for a peeler – if they are in stock!

Previously bought one of that cost a little more (Vacumin, now trading as Tomorrow’s Kitchen, which is brilliant). The way, the price of this one keeps fluctuating between £5.99 and £8.99.
Didn’t think there could be that much difference so bought this one as a gift. Well I was wrong, when you compare the two side by side, you can see why one is more expensive. This one is made of very thin, flimsy steel, and is shorter in length. I just can’t see this standing up to the pressure needed to turn the device and pull the spiral out of the pineapple. I returned it, unused, for a refund and bought another Tomorrow’s Kitchen. Sometimes you do get what you pay for!

Bought this after my old slicer snapped. I thought it felt a little bit flimsy but the blades are very sharp.
It takes a couple of goes to get the feel of it and you need to position it carefully or you end up missing some of the fruit, especially with large pineapples. It also cuts the chunks quite thin which might not suit all tastes.
Have to say once you get the hang of it, it’s quick and relatively simple to use. It’s easy to clean too so you’re not having to pick bits of pineapple from between the blades.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! This is by FAR the BEST kitchen gadget I’ve every bought. I love pineapple, but it was always such a pain because it was messy and sticky, but this makes it so so easy. My only downside is the chunk cutter, it’s not overly sturdy, but it does the job.

We are now eating pineapple more frequently because it now only takes about 30 seconds to fully cut up a pineapple. This tool will really make for softer pineapple because of how the tool works. Either way, this tool makes for convenience. So incredibly easy to use and safe too.

The tool is so handy for getting pineapple cored fast and safe to use. The results are great for presentation as well. The left over skins inevitably left behind, can be easily scraped with a spoon afterwards to get the leftover edible portions for no waste of fruit. Much safer to use than a knife with beautiful safe results.
Fresh pineapple has so much flavor as compared to canned – HIGHLY recommended !

I am pleasantly surprised how well this works cutting the pineapple. It makes perfect round evenly cut pieces. With having to feed my little doggy 1/4 pieces each night before bed due to a medical issue..it sure has made it alot easier for me. I just wish someone would invent an item such as this for papaya. Works great, easy to clean.

En fin, c’est fini l’achat d’ananas déjà coupés (et plus chers!).
On les coupe à la maison et le résultat (avec ce formidable outil) est excellent!

i bought this as i started to eat more fruit and like pineapple so thought this would help but when cutting it into chunks they went everywhere as did the juice so forget it, its easier to buy tinned fruit in fruit juice

The first time I used it, I was surprised at how well it cuts through the pineapple, but you need to centre it well, so it cuts through the core. I had Togo back with a knife to remove some of the pineapple that was left behind. But I am happy with the gadget and I think practice will make perfect!
