The problem with the “official” Apple lightning charger cable is that it breaks up at the plug point that goes into the device. That’s because of a simple engineering flaw that Apple just hasn’t taken into account. Deliberately? Just cleverly to sell more of their highly priced useless charging cables, or plain bad engineering. They make a great phone/device but bad connectors? No! Seems manipulative!
This right angled cable is great because the cable goes the way the phone or device might move. Lateral rugs are likely to be less strong because of the way we use these phones or devices. If it’s a strong direct or 0 deg tug, the cable just unplugs. The weaker 90 deg or lateral tug, dies nothing to damage the connector. Great idea, works well!

Poor execution or quality control, i ordered 3 iphone chargers, but ended up with 2 iphone chargers and 1 Samsung charger. The Samsung changer is a straight plug and not the 90degee, so it should have easily been caught before shipping. It is really too bad, the quality of the products themselves are great, although they tend to not work 100% of the time but because i only have two that i can use, the value drops significantly

J’aimais le concept à angle droit mais avec le temps là où débute fil, celui-ci a commencé à plier quand même, et aussi, lorsque ma tablette était branchée avec ce fil et que je furetais sur le Net ou jouais à un jeu, l’autonomie de ma batterie diminuait assez vite. Bref, les deux fils les plus longs ne fonctionnent plus. Ils ne chargent plus. Je suis donc revenue aux vrais fils Apple et je n’ai plus aucun problème. Je regrette avoir fait cet achat.

Purchased a 3 pack in October 2020. My son has always been hard on charging cords, but the braided ones have always lasted because he could play with it as much. I used the other 2, one in the living room and one beside my bed. I recently purchased another set because another company charger died and needed another in my bedroom. The one in the livings, Oct/20, died a week ago, so put a new one there. Tonight my sons is making that sound ping when it charged, then not charges. Will replace it with the last of the Jan 2021 purchase. I like to have at least one on hand that’s long but because of lock down, curfew and having to physically try to find one in stores, I may purchase another set or try a different company. I absolutely love the right angle and the price, I do not like adding to the garbage pile. Hard to get to places that may recycle them, not open a the times I like to shop. Please try to fix this problem. I am not hard on them, not stretching or pulling, just want one that I don’t have to worry it falls on the floor when I unplug it.
