Aaron Tosca –
I’ve bought a lot of these so here are my reviews.
(1) Cuts Review –
BARELY BOOTCUT is basically just like the bootcut design.
Full-on BOOTCUT is a bit wider under the knee but barely noticeably.
STRAIGHT is noticeably leaner and very snug-fitting below the knee.
SKINNY pant fit is definitely cut like leggings and quite tight.
SLIM pant fit is also definitely cut like leggings and quite tight.
TUMMY CONTROL or not, belt loops or not, I find all the waists equal with all Rekucci models (except for secret figure–see next item).
SECRET FIGURE PULL-ON KNIT STRAIGHT w/TUMMY CONTROL are tighter at the waist and around the buttocks and upper leg.
If buying the skinny or slim fit, you may want to go one size up, but going to big will cause the material to fold at upper leg.
(2) Colors Review –
BLACK – Black is regular black, 100% true to pic.
BROWN MIX is not as grainy-looking as depicted in the pic and is actually a much nicer neutral brown in real life.
BURGUNDY is slightly darker than depicted in pics, so not as flashy as one might think.
DEEP PLUM is 100% true to pic.
SILVER is a tad darker on the secret figure with tummy control than other models/cuts.
MAUVE is 100% true to the picture.
NAVY is much darker than depicted in the pics and almost looks like a black in normal lighting–only bright lighting will reveal the blue tone.
NAVY/AQUA TILE PATTERN is quite clownish and true to pic, though this may be what you’re going for.
NAVY TARTAN PATTERN is actually nicer in real life and more subtle than depicted, as well as darker (though the material is a bit thicker, perhaps due to dyeing).
PETAL PINK is almost true to pic but has no peach tone, as it’s a true light pink.
WHITE CHECK PATTERN is not subtle and somehow squares look a tad bigger in real life.
WHITE DOTTED LINES PATTERN is quite subtle and just looks like an even light navy from afar.
(3) Sizes Review –
American. Not Chinese sizes.
With a 30 to 34-inch waist, 10 to 14 will do. Length is perfect for height between 5’7″ and 5’9″. 5’6″ might want to choose short style. Go bigger if you choose the secret figure with tummy control (ironically) or if buying the skinny fit.
Going too big will cause the material to fold/crumple at upper leg.
(4) Material –
All cuts are stretch material. The material isn’t too thick, so in extreme cold, some might find these too thin. It isn’t too thick for summer, so unless you overheat quickly, you’ll be comfortable in these. SECRET FIGURE PULL-ON KNIT STRAIGHT w/TUMMY CONTROL are made with thicker, winter material.
Note: The NAVY TARTAN PATTERN material is also a bit thicker/harder, perhaps due to dyeing process.

Good value. Smart or casual Go for a size bigger
Roy Turley –
I really liked the fit of these trousers, the tummy control is good and they are so comfortable, very pleased with them, never bought this brand before but certainly will again.
Tannedhaggis –
I have a couple of pairs of these pants and it depends on the material used as to how nice they look. These black textured pants were returned because the had areas of glaze that looks like it was caused by a hot press. The fit is great and I love the long length.
Twisleskid –
Beautifully made trousers and quality but my 6short was more like 10long
Mrs Beauchamp –
Lovely colour. Absolute pig to iron.
Sara –
The material on these pants was very spandex-y. They are a very high maintenance pant too, requires ironing after each wear or wash. Lastly, they inseam was way too long. I had to take them in to be hemmed before ever wearing them. I’m disappointed as the price was pretty high. I had a lot of hopes for these pants.
Ash –
While initially impressed with the fit, length, style, comfort, after the first wash shortened the length. See photos. I’m 5′ 9″, about 140lbs.
There appears to be enough material I can lower the hem line, but not what I was looking for with $60 pants.

Everything I was hoping for! I ordered the black straight leg pants (regular length) and they look great. I’m going to order another pair soon! The fabric is good quality, comfortable, and fairly stretchy. They fit similarly to lulu lemon pants sizes. I’m glad I ordered the straight leg, because they are form fitting and quite narrow at the ankle. I imagine the slim fit pants would be skin tight at the ankles in comparison. I’m 5’5 and the pants are about a cm or two longer than my heel when I stand barefoot, so they will probably be the perfect length with high heels, or I could hem them. Very happy with the purchase; more comfortable and half the price of dress pants from Le Chateau. Bonus, you don’t need to dry clean them, just wash in cold and hang dry.
Girl Next Door –
There is a lot to like about these trousers. First, the fabric: these pants do not “bag out” and lose their shape with wearing; instead, they remain fitted while also providing good stretch and comfort. Second, the fabric thickness: it is a nice, all-season weight. Third, the colour selection—wow (I bought these in teal and hope to buy more). Fourth, the Tummy Control panel … tired of sucking it in? These will help. As far as size accuracy is concerned, I am one of those “in between sizes” people. At 5’7″, 145 lbs, but with a tiny little waist (am a little bit of a pear) I chose the size 6. They are great and I like the “fitted” fit (or I would’ve exchanged them), but I could likely have chosen the size 8 and also been happy.
debm –
I would give these pants five stars, as they fit very well, look great and until I washed them, I thought about buying other colours. The problem? You have to iron them. I hate having to iron pants, and was not expecting this. I wish it had been in the description. I haven’t broken out my iron for years, and although it didn’t take that much to smooth the pants out, I now won’t take them on vacation as planned because they will come out of the suitcase wrinkled.
Ruth –
I love the material and the tummy tuck inside, however, they fit a bit small. Had I known that I would have bought one size larger, but I bought the size I always wear. The slip on feature is something I really like and the colour is a true dark navy. I’m glad I bought them, but I wish they were a touch larger……..or I was a touch smaller……..LOL. Nice product and fast delivery from Amazon as per usual.
Kat-Len –
The tartan is a great colour. The pattern is not overwhelming. Super stretchy so they slip down as you walk. I’m in between sizes, I’ve purchased size 10 and 12 and the 10 are too tight by a smidgen. Normal pants I’m usually a snug size 8. Washed only once as per instructions, the bum seam is already wearing out and they’re not even tight on me, in fact they’re too big. I also bought this pant in black and so far they’re OK. But, the tarter style I got, the elastic is breaking so I’m getting these tiny white hairs at the bum seam already and the threads are breaking. If it weren’t for these brand new pants falling apart after a couple of weeks I would have given them 5 stars but I’ll still be generous at 3 because I want them to be perfect.
