Nice pie plates. Like most similar products, you can put them in a pre-heated oven. There is a warning not to put them in the oven while it is pre-heating. The reason for this is that during pre-heating, the oven temperature is very high, much higher than your desired temperature. It may therefore crack the glass.

Price for 2 was extremely good value when compared to other sites.
Only looking for one but price was incentive.
2 dishes just means I cook more and have more friends over.

This pie plate does not appear to be made of tempered glass. I baked a pie crust and took it out of the oven and put it on my stainless steel counter while I closed the oven door.. The glass actually burst and shattered into at least a 100 small pieces. Needless to say I had to throw out the baked pie crust. I’m not sure that I will want to attempt to use the 2nd pie plate that came in the set.

Have only used them twice, not regrets. Use to use aluminum plates, never again . Like the lip on the pie plate less chance of slipping or dropping . Easy to clean.

Bought these for Christmas for my wife who was looking for a pie plate that had rippled edges. These appeared to be exactly what she wanted, however, what you can’t tell from the pics is that the edges are rippled on the underside… not on the top. So the top edge (circumference) is actually smooth. Other than that, they looked great, but we ended up re-gifting them.

Over 1 1/2 years later my wife still has yet to use these pie plates she desperately had to have. I’m sure at this rate they will last forever. My only disappoint is my lack of pie

Diese Pie Formen aus Glas wirken sehr robust und sehen echt toll aus.
Bis jetzt habe ich nur Nachtische wie beispielsweise Zimtschnecken darin gebacken, was super geklappt hat.
An einen echten Pie werde ich mich mit dieser Form demnächst auch mal heranwagen.
Die Form hat meiner Meinung nach die perfekte Größe, um Pies darin zu backen.
Super ist auch, dass es zwei Formen sind.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist also trotz etwas höherer Versandkosten absolut klasse.
Würde die Formen auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Love baking my pies in this pie dish. Great to have a set of two as I usually make two pies and freeze one for another cook! I would say this pie size is best for 4-6 serves.
