I wish there was a lock to hold when it is assembled, so you will not have to worry that it might fall.

This is being used for VFW Post monthly meetings. The lip used to keep documents from sliding off wasn’t evenly secured to the top. One side had about a 1/8″ gap that couldn’t be fixed, but doesn’t affect operation of the podium.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the product for three reasons. First, and the major problem with the product is that, in the ad, it appears to be ONE piece that is foldable. It’s not. It’s two pieces – which does not make it very portable. Second, it is way heavier than expected – which also means that it is not very portable. Third, it does not come with a “bag” to put the two pieces in – which makes it (again) not very portable. It’s my fault for not paying closer attention but, I felt that I was mislead by the ad.

The lectern is very solid and can be collapsed for easy storage, I bought it because it matched our existing furniture. It can be a two person job to get the top aligned with the base.

This was impossible to put together – the base was misaligned and/or the chocks in the top were in the wrong place. Return postage costs AUD 125 – refundable but still it’s a real; hassle, and heavy to lug to the post office. Even if it was put together properly, it isn’t so much portable as movable (just), I wouldn’t carry it for more than a few minutes.
Advanced Arcade –
I ordered 2 of these. Both of them were missing screws in the hinges. The screws that were there were not tightened all the way. The tops move left and right. About an inch of play. One of them was damaged with marks on the front. Would not recommend at all. I can see one being bad but 2?

I liked this for its size height and angles of operation. Unfortunately, it is made cheaply from particle wood and arrived with the snap holes already degrading. It is particle wood and will quickly wear out, people. Also, all that glue int he particles make if really heavy. The assembly design works but the materials are crap.
