This is my first humidifier, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I found it louder than expected. Water pools in the bottom half, and it’s not possible to clean all parts of this. I clean it every second day, but after a few weeks I already could see a red stain from water in certain areas, including the unreachable ones. It’s a bit of a pain to fill because of the design. The blue light feature is nice. I find compared to aromatisers, I was surprised there wasn’t more of a mist … it seems to only reach upward about twelve inches, and then fall back to the floor. Maybe these products are all a bit similar, but I wish I had gone with a different one.

Overall this humidifier runs quietly and looks nice, but I feel like I need a larger or more heavy duty unit as I haven’t noticed a significant improvement in the humidity level in my bedroom. The bedroom is not all that large and I keep the unit running basically right beside my face. I was hoping for a noticeable difference. My husband who is further away from the unit says he doesn’t notice any change. Also I use the unit on high and the water tank only lasts one night so refilling it daily has been a bit annoying. I will definitely be keeping this unit and maybe just moving it to a smaller space, but plan to invest in a larger one for my bedroom.

I was a little disappointed at the size of this humidifier, I thought it would’ve been bigger just by looking at the photo of it with the guy in the living room. You’ll have a better gauge of it’s size looking at the photos of it being cleaned. I find it barely gets my bedroom to about 30-35 humidity level running all night on high…and I don’t have a very big bedroom. However, the worst part for me is the buzzing noise that this thing makes. I’ve placed the unit on my bedside table near my head, but I could hear it even standing at the other end of my bedroom. I’m really not sure if this is normal or if I got a defected unit. It’s definitely not whisper quiet to me.

I have been looking for a humidifier to help combat dry skin and chapped lips while I slept and this has certainly done the job. Great quality at a reasonable price, and very easy to set up and operate. It has a nice aesthetic design and is small enough to fit well on my nightstand. This humidifier has four settings: low mist with/without nightlight, and high mist with/without nightlight. I use the high mist throughout the night and I have definitely noticed a positive difference in my skin and lips in the morning. I usually get through 2 nights on high if the whole tank is filled up. I have only been using this for a little over a week, so I have not had to do a thorough clean of it, but it looks very simple to wipe out and clean off.
Although you have the option to turn the nightlight off, the power button on the front always stays illuminated blue when it is turned on. I am fine with this as it hardly gives off much light. The nightlight color is blue. I do wish that it was a more relaxing color such as a dim orange, since blue light is not the most accommodating for sleep, but I just sleep without it.
This humidifier is fairly quiet, it does make a soft noise as it’s running, but I actually find this to be very therapeutic to fall asleep to. Overall very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!

This MistAire Silver Cool Mist Humidifier is a quality product, good value and very stylish in appearance. The price was so much less than I was expecting to pay for all the features this model has. It doesn’t make any noise and puts out a great deal of mist, even at the lower setting. It’s quite handy having a spout you can move to direct the mist where you want and I like having a choice to switch between light and heavy mist depending on the seasons and air dryness. I’m buying one soon to give as a gift and would definitely recommend this humidifier to anyone who’s considering one. If it came in a model with a larger capacity water tank, I’d get one of those too.

Used it for ONE night and the plastic tank failed, absolute garbage for the amount of money I paid for this.

I absolutely loved the huge capacity of this humidifier, and its sleek, modern, and discreet appearance. It can last for days-we used it every night and every nap time. It has variable output and the light option is a huge hit with my toddler. These reasons are why I purchased this humidifier.
But what is absolutely terrifying, and why I desperately wanted to return (alas, the window closed 😡 so instead, I offer warning for any other potential victims!) about this is that it grows mold almost INSTANTLY.
And there is NO WAY to properly clean it.
I cannot disassemble the reservoir portion in order to get it properly sanitized.
I purchased this humidifier to help my toddler with his wintertime allergies and sinus difficulties from the dry air, and instead I got a one-way ticket to fungal meningitis for my home.
I would STRONGLY discourage the purchase of this humidifier, unless perhaps you were hoping to punish an enemy or exact vengeance by way of deadly infection from aerosolized mold spores.

Was looking for something to use in my baby’s nursery that wouldn’t be too bulky but would also last the whole night. This product is awesome as it has two mist settings & the option to use the blue night light which is the perfect amount to see the room as a parent but not enough to wake baby! The machine is very quiet, I personally can’t hear it at all! Super easy to use! Overall very happy and the reviews on this were my main reason for purchasing after looking and many many models! Very happy I chose this one!

I took a month before I posted this, just to make sure I didn’t have the leakage issue that all other humidifiers seem to give me after a month. This is an absolutely amazing purchase. I love that you can disconnect the cord, that’s a huge selling point. Putting the water in is a little strange but I am completely used to it by now. I have only had to clean it out once so far (but I put already-filtered water into the container). And the fact that you have the option of it being on with no light is amazing, I usually have to tape sticky notes over things I use at night. It does make a loud gurgling noise when water moves down to the base, but otherwise I honestly forget this thing is running all the time, it is SO quiet! Aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and clean, has a warrantee option available, super quiet, no or blue lighting. And most importantly, it works! My apartment is usually so dry and this helps me sleep through the night without my entire mouth and throat drying out.
Not sure why it’s asking me about warmth – it has no temperature. I put a couple things along with in the photo just for a sense of its size. I would definitely recommend this one.

Very easy to us and fill, different settings as in nightlight or no light, high or low, a full tank lasts 2 days. Does take much room on my nightstand. Not too loud, although I like a humming sound to sleep. I use distilled water and only had to wash it twice this winter with vinegar. Used a baby bottle washer to get inside the container and was quite easy to clean. The only downfall was that its direct mist only goes around 1½ feet at low to 2 feet at high and I like the mist directly on my face. If it would have gone a little further, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

This humidifier is great! It’s definitely smaller than I thought but it does it’s job, and well! It has a low and high setting and gives you the option to have a nightlight on (we personally don’t use it). It runs for about 8 hours on the high setting before going empty. Definitely has a great mist that flows out. It works well for medium sized rooms (no larger than 250 sq feet probably). Easy to clean the tank portion.
I have a pretty noteable problem with this humidifier though. There is no easy way to clean the mist tunnel and spout. I looked into the tunnel with my flashlight and saw pink mold in in the tippy top of the tube, right where the spout is. It was a real pain to clean which included us trying to seal the hole at the top so that some bleach water could soak it out, as a bottle brush wouldn’t get into the crevices. There is no way to remove the cap, and no instructions on how to properly clean the tunnel or spout. I even asked how to clean it on Amazon question section and of all of the many people who bought this product, I received no responses. My assumption is no one else has a clue how to clean it either!

I bought this humidifier a little over a year ago and have been using it pretty consistently in my upstairs kitchen and living area. I have since purchased a few more other, cheaper humidifiers, which make me really appreciate all that this one has to offer. I think this option is a really great value, and I’ll explain why.
This humidifier is much more heavy duty than the other ones I’ve purchased in the $25-$30 range. The components and parts seem really high quality, especially after buying some cheaper options which I’ve found to be incredibly chincy and fragile. This is the style you fill from the bottom, meaning you will have to remove the tank from the base, flip it over, and unscrew the cap to fill. I’ve never owned or used any other kind of humidifier, as this style does not bother me.
The features on this thing are actually really useful and part of the reason I love it so much. When it’s time to fill with water or clean, you can unplug the cord from the unit and take it over to the sink. This is especially nice for dumping the water that inevitably sits in the base of the unit.. this happens on every humidifier I’ve ever purchased, so to easily be able to just dump it before I fill the tank again is really nice and convenient. My cheaper humidifiers don’t have a removable cord and I didn’t realize how much I appreciated that until it wasn’t an option.
There are also four different settings you can choose from on the unit to suit many different needs. The settings are as follows: low, low with light, high with light, high. I absolutely LOVE the ambiance this light provides. It is a gorgeous, calming blue color and I keep it on all the time.
Mine basically stays on the low with light setting at all times, and I have to refill once every two days.
I have not had a single problem with mold, even after I let it sit for a month over the summer. But the base is very easy to clean with the cord removed, and the water tank I clean with a bottle brush. I also recently purchased Aqua Sticks which just sit in the tank and they seem to be working, as I have not noticed any odors, grime, mold etc.
Overall, my opinion would be to spend the extra $10-$15 on a nicer unit like this one, because the features are well thought out to enhance convenience and usability. I have had zero problems with mine and would highly recommend it!

I loved this humidifier at first. I owned two of them for about a year. However, pink mold grows in it after awhile, and this thing…excuse my language…is a BITCH to clean! Yes, you can use vinegar and water to clean it, but scrubbing? Nada. They give you this tiny brush to clean with, which hardly helps at all. My son and I started coughing a ton every day. Spoke to the doctor about the humidifier and they advised me to throw it out. The mold can be harmful to your lungs. So needless to say this thing is a waste of money. Looks great in a room, but not worth your health AT ALL! Pure needs to make their products easier to clean.
