The original battery pack of my 770 would not hold much charge after 4 years of use (often stopped in the middle of the room). This one is a perfect replacement at a budget price. Now the Roomba can run at full power for about 1.5 hours without any issue. It is still too early to tell the durability so far, though. I will see if the new one can last as long as the OEM.

Made my three-year-old roombas go from about 30/45 minutes of runtime to well over an hour and a half they can actually finish their job and dock like they did out of the box.

Roombas have ran a few times now and everything seems great.

The only downside I see is that they give you four replacement brushes yet only two are usable (2x 700/800 model and 2x 400/500/600) so unless you have a newer and older model Roomba it seems like a waste. Should have two listings for the different model brushes.

Amazing it just wake my old roomba 780 straight up. After using my roomba for a few years it’s battery just doesn’t work any more every time we charged it fully it only work for couple minutes I was thinking to get a new one but now I changed the battery and other accessories it work like those brand new ones ! Love it.

So far I am happy with the battery, but I only started using it 3 weeks ago. It definitely extended roomba run time . With the old battery which was was replaced a year ago it was working barley 15 minutes. Now it’s back to its old 1hour to 1.5 hours and it goes back to its dock automatically. So far works like new. I hope it will last. And I didn’t have any issues installing it it worked immediately.

After 6 years, my 500-series roomba wouldn’t hold a charge for more than a couple minutes. Happy to report much better performance after a week’s usage and has restored the roomba to as new condition -the extra brushes are a bonus!

Ordered this after 3-year-old Roomba 660 began to head home and die 2 feet from the dock every single day after running for about 45 min, even after multiple battery re-sets/full charges. Charged this new pack for 30-ish hours, and Roomba 660 has been working for a full hour daily for about a week now. So far so good. To note: when I changed the pack, I needed to re-enter the schedule but not the clock; however, the next morning I found that the clock had re-set after I set the machine back on the dock and would’ve had the Roomba starting in the middle of the night if I hadn’t checked. This came with the 4 extra spin brushes.

UPDATE: Seller reached out and sent a replacement battery to try. Unfortunately it still has similar battery life to the first unit. Extra star for the attempt thought.

Kind of disappointed in the battery life. Roombas are rated 60-120mins from new in box. This battery is new and only lasts 55 mins before returning to dock. Likely poor quality cells, will be buying a different brand next time.

*Update* Mar 2019. Battery is officially dead. Does not hold a charge longer than 5 minutes. Off to the trash bin, you get what you pay for here.

April 2 2018 – I have been using this for my 600 series Roomba for a few months now(Purchased Jan 2018), wanted to test it before making a review. Overall, for the price, it is a good deal. However, batteries, especially 3rd party aftermarket batteries MAY vary in terms of quality. But my Roomba is almost 3 years old and needed new brushes, cleaning head and battery.

Overall the battery works fine but in my opinion, in my 600 sq ft condo apartment in Toronto that I share with my girlfriend and two short haired cats with all laminate floors and one high pile rug, this battery lasts significantly less then the OEM Roomba battery. In addition, it can also feel ‘weaker’.

    Let me explain.

With the OEM battery (the one that came with the Roomba, approx 3 years old), the Roomba is out for almost 30 minutes more then with this battery. With the original battery, the roomba pulses red when the battery is low and it starts to go into docking mode, but with this aftermarket battery, the light is green all the time until it stops and docks, which then starts charging with a red pulse (low battery). My Roomba does do daily cleanings (gf has medium length but THI C C C hair and of course, indoor cats in shedville) so this may also be a factor.

In addition, the ‘weaker’ comment. The Roomba is not as loud (the vaccuum, the brushes are always loud), which does result in less hair/dander/dust in the vaccuum bin, and its also somewhat noticeable on my dark flooring that theres more shedding of hair and nails, thanks cats! With the original battery, I would normally get a full chamber full of hair every day but with the new battery, its less then half the chamber).

This is what leads to me thinking, either the battery capacity isn’t 3800mah as stated, or that the battery has a weaker voltage to power the Roomba to clean more.

I will continue to monitor and may switch up the original 3 yr old Roomba battery and compare back and forth for a few weeks. Batteries can be a fickle thing, sometimes lasting longer, shorter, etc.We all know this from our cellphones.

Overall for the price, this is a fine replacement but might not be considered a premium replacement (3800mah vs the 3000mah original battery cell size), but hopefully it changes after some more usage.

It has also not given me error codes that some reviews mention.
