I repeat- do not cheap out on these! I was using a no-name version for a few months and cursed it daily! (It didn’t come untuck, but the socket would pop off allll the time!)
They’re a little more money, but POPSOCKET is superior quality.

Crap didnt stick at all.

I’ve been using pop sockets of all shapes and sizes since 2 years now. Official pop sockets and off brand ones too. Although I prefer official pop socket any day.
I always purchase from Walmart and now since the pandemic I ordered from Amazon.
This is seems and feels official pop socket but it does not latch on to the pop grip. It easily get turned around by one finger even without applying force and comes off easily. There is no latching mechanism in this one.
I’m pretty sure pop socket has a nice latching mechanism as the previous 10+ pop sockets I’ve used had it.

Good quality product. If you are considering a pop-socket know that I resisted getting one for so long. I finally gave in and love using one. I drop my phone far less often and it makes it so easy to hold. Go for a pocket socket for sure! I also love that you can keep the same base stuck you your phone and just easily swap out the actual ‘pop’ part. You can customize your look so easily this way.

I am very impressed with the overall grip, adhesion and quality of these Pop Outs.
My wife goes through about one per year.
The mechanical “popping up & down” continues to work, and the adhesion is very good.
Normally I would knock it down a rating or two for not lasting the life of a device, but we have two children and this magic gem keeps them occupied for hours and they are not gentle in the least bit!
As such I believe it has realistically lasted 3 lifetimes over the course of 1 year.
The real thing of note isthe adhesion. You are able to clean it and move it around without a loss of adhesion. We have only moved it a handful of times so I don’t know how long this would last, but so far so good.

I didn’t even have the pop socket on for a week, and it broke off when I opened it. The swappable part snapped in place, so there was nothing I could do. Pretty disappointed since I figured it would be more durable, knowing it was a “name” brand

I bought an original popsocket a few years ago, before these silly swap the design things, and it was brilliant could not fault, the other day the rubber ripped and came off so I ordered this new one. Everyday wear for 2+ years wasn’t bad.
AWFUL. It does NOT stick to ANYTHING. I’ve tried a range of different phone cases, the phone it’s self, random objects around the house. It holds for a few seconds and then falls to the floor. Very disappointing as the last one was crazy strong, I had to get a screwdriver to pry it off when it came to replacing. But not this one
I’m resorting to super glue and if that doesn’t work guess I’ll try a knock off brand?

I don’t normally write reviews but after skimming the reviews when deciding there are quite a large number of reviews stating that this pop socket is not authentic or has issues. I decided to order despite these with the intent on returning the product if it was “falsely listed” but it was not. I thought it might be helpful for others to hear from another recent purchase.
I have been using pop sockets for a number of years and required a new one recently. I can confirm that that what was shipped to me was indeed an authentic pop socket and brand new.
I had no problems with adhesion as some have mentioned. It was brand new and adhered to by phone perfectly and securely.
Other reviews mention that the pop socket falls off. This is not the case – the pop socket sold is actually Pop Socket’s newer model called “Pop Grips & Pop Tops” where the pop socket can be removed from the mount that is adhered to your phone. This allows for wireless charging and changing the pop top for a different design without removing the adhesion. The pop top is only able to be removed when in the closed position and twisted in a very specific way. I think this what is happening to those complaining that the pop socket comes off in other reviews.
I hope this review is helpful to those who might be looking through reviews to decide if this is an authentic product.

I used to buy the knockoff versions of this since I thought it’s just a piece of plastic so how much difference could it be?
After finally getting the OG one I realized the adhesive is so much better on these and the plate doesn’t pop out like the other cheap brands. It’s something that shouldn’t be overlooked and I’m so glad I got these. Another reason to get this one is there’s no sharp plastic seamlines on the grip; everything is smooth and won’t be annoying to hold

The only thing I like about this popsocket is the adhesion. It is strong. I was, however, able to take it out though when replacing cases using some heat. It’s been a few months using and still can’t really get used to it. My fingers hurt after extended periods of use since there isn’t enough space to close my fingers when holding it. The surface gets scratched up pretty easily too.

Bought this for my new iPhone XR. I did have an iPhone 5s which was really easy to hold, however the XR sets cramp off in my fingers. Have seen celebrities use these so thought I’d found the answer …… it fell off after half an hour of very light use ! So disappointed, and it looks like I might have to purchase a pack of 6 3M replacement stickers at a cost of £6.99. Thinking of returning the whole thing… or run the risk of dropping the phone if PopSocket fails again 😤
