I am not using the jar for what I originally bought it for so for right now it sits empty. Needed a smaller jar for original use. But I’m sure I’ll find a use for it. The original four I bought are being used for baking flours and sugars. So it will be added for that or maybe pasta. Not sure yet. I really love the versatility and quality of these jars.

Great product and I feel it is a good price. The glass is thick and the wide lid makes it all very easy to clean. I’ve ordered four and I’m tempted to have more because of the possibilities of applications. Brewing kombucha or Jun Tea. Racking a brew to a second fermenting container, a cookie Jar, storing rainy day herbs. The lid is plastic, Which is fine, so it wouldn’t be used for long term storage obviously. Doesn’t take away from how useful they are.

it was exactly as expected, however the lid was broken. So far their customer service has been great and easy to communicate with and they are sending me a replacement. I have yet to receive it , but I’m confident it will come. I will update this once received.

For the gallon sized jar this one has very good proportions – it’s not too wide and more on the taller size, which makes fermentation of the liquids go well. I don’t use the lid much, because I don’t want it blow up from gases. Wide mouth makes it very easy to operate – placing bigger pieces and cleaning can be done with hands without the use of additional equipment.

I got this to paint strip some acrylics off of skme larger miniatures and it delivered. Load it up with SuperClean and let it sit, glass makes it easy to clean.

Great for the price. I’m just disappointed that the lid was broken. Thankfully, I do not need it for my homemade SCOBY, but the lid would’ve never closed properly with that fissure.

I like that this arrived sooner than expected, but not sure if it may have been damaged through prime shipping or not.
I use gallon jars I get to create terrariums, I gather wild plants from the forest & observe them grow at home.
