I have this connected to a HDMI switcher (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MTZ2KC8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it works like a charm with the videotron cablebox. This was for my inlaws that needed a wireless replacement for there panasonic wireless tv and this did the job with ease. It will have the occasional 0.5 second freeze frame but it is far from a deal breaker. Mind you that i only have a few feet of distance to cover with direct line of site, so i cant really comment on its performance if the devices were far from each other with walls in between. Even when using the switcher, the box picked up the gaming console with ease (Wiiu)

Lamentablemente, a veces funciona y a veces no.
puede mandar la señal de TV, si, pero no hace el bypass del HDCP a voluntad, es de apagar y encender varias veces la consola hasta que lo quiera pasar.
Realmente he hecho muchas pruebas y solo el 40% resulta bien.
A mi no me funciona como lo necesito, asi que no puedo decir que sea un excelente producto, pero es buen divisor de señal.

This unit works fairly well, especially for the price. It seems to handle just about anything I’ve thrown at it so far. I do notice a bit of noise in some types of video but unless you’re super picky you probably won’t even see it. The one thing that is a bit annoying is that when you change the number of TV’s (or whatever) after about 30 seconds there’s a noticeable black out while it seemingly re-negotiates/re-handshakes when the end devices. Also of note, as others have said, this only negotiates for a single type of audio output and that is used for all devices. For example if you have it hooked up to a stereo TV and a surround AVR it will negotiate the audio with whatever unit was the first to come on, so if you turned on the AVR first it will be 5.1 output and if you’re other TV unit can’t decode 5.1 sound it will get none for playback. On the other hand in those situations if you turn on the TV first it will negotiate stereo sound and then your AVR will also play stereo sound fine. Good value for the $$.

Got this to split a HDMI signal to a blackmagic video mixer and to a PC monitor.
This was the only splitter where I could get the correct EDID working and both outputs working nicely.

Operates a 40″ Insignia TV (pass through) and 43″ Insignia TV (receiver location) from a Bell 6131 satellite box. 43″ TV is 10 meters and three plaster stud walls from the transmitter unit. Transmitter & receiver are left on continuously. When 43″ TV is turned on or the channel on the satellite box is changed via the “IR Blaster”, it usually takes 15 seconds for the sound and video to stabilize. Thereafter, the video will jump slightly every 60 seconds or so. Sometimes when the channel on the satellite box is changed via the “IR Blaster”, the video will freeze. Turning the 43″ TV off then on or changing the 43″ TV input from HDMI to TV & back to HDMI is needed to unfreeze the video. Transmission always occurs at 1080i 60 Hz. A Gvirtue Universal Remote Control (from Amazon) is used to control the 43″ TV and the Bell 6131 via the “IR Blaster”.

So I had my doubts that the OREI Wireless devices would work for us – but figured I could always use the Amazon return process if it didn’t pan out. Super delighted to say – THESE THINGS ACTUALLY WORK!! We were very pleasantly surprised. We didn’t want to run a cable into the downstairs bedroom of our house, as it didn’t have coax going to the room when we bought the house, and we didn’t want to start punching holes in walls to do it. So I figured we’d try the wireless TV transmitters, the OREI ones seemed to be among the better reviewed ones out there. Very pleased with them – super easy setup, and they work beautifully. We have Satellite TV, as we are out of the city, and it was easy to connect these to the Satellite TV Box on the main floor, and the OREI receiver to the TV in the downstairs bedroom. Was concerned they might not transmit well between the main floor and basement, but they work great! (Can you tell I was shocked???) Picture quality is excellent, full 1080 – sound quality is perfect, there’s no perceptible difference between quality of the TV on the main floor (hooked directly to the satellite box) and the one in the bedroom downstairs – being fed wirelessly by the OREI transmitters. They even come with the IR transmit/receivers so you can use the remote control in the bedroom downstairs to control the satellite box on the main floor. Absolutely magic. I’m always impressed when technology actually works like it is supposed to – and these units are great. We’ve had them for about 2 months now, and highly recommend them. 5 stars, absolutely. ***To be completely clear, I ordered the ones that are silver boxes with 2 black antennas – “Wireless Extender – 165 feet (up to 300 feet)” – and they are awesome.

I use this to split an HDMI signal from my HD surveillance cameras around my house so I can view directly from my NVR rather than running the NVR’s software program which takes time to log in and refresh each camera and sometimes doesn’t work properly. The signal from the NVR is direct and has no issues for instant viewing.

I run a maximum of 50+ cabling along with an HDMI through Ethernet extender to several monitors throughout my home and I have no problems so far.

Very poor, when turning the second display on the first one goes blank briefly. Then after about a week both displays started just going blank at random. Spent more on a branded unit, image is rock solid even when turning second display on and off. Not all HDMI splitters are created equal, it is worth spending a bit more on a quality unit.

Trying to send HDMI picture 80 m to a distant display over cat 5e buried cable. The distance appears to be beyond the system’s capability as no signal was received. Good picture was obtained at 55 m distance. This model promised to be exactly what I needed and the loopback for local monitor is a feature most similar systems don’t offer. But it would seem 80 m is too far.

If you are using this to send both the audio and video to your TV remotely, it’s fine. If you are trying to use this for transmitting the video signal to your TV, but sending the audio separately to speakers, it won’t work. Like if you have a separate sound system in a media equipment room, sending to surround sound speakers, not using your TV speakers. The latency or lag, on the video signal is about a half second and makes the audio not align with the video. People talk on screen, and their mouths move a second later.

Product is good. Unfortunately the puspose for which I bought was very dicey so can’t blame the item. Any one looking to buy this to bypass HDCP don’t. It doesn’t solve my nvidia shield vs old lcd hdcp issue atleast . The main function of splitter works flawless and is perfectly good product.
