Disappointed customer –
This was a really poor product for us… it’s possible that it’s because we’re using it in the UK and the voltage difference causes a problem but that doesn’t explain all of it…. The temperature control is just terrible and makes it particularly difficult to create and then maintain the fondue. We tried chocolate and wasted 2 batches. There is a blue light on the front which lights up when the heat switches on (like a thermostatic heater). The dial feels very light and wobbly (ie cheap). The problem was that ours didn’t always work. I could turn it up to full and the light didn’t come on and no click sound to indicate it. Try it another time and it worked. Was it heating when on 7 or not? Who knows… all I do know was that we waited around 3 weeks for this to arrive and now have v disappointed girls who’ve wasted a lot of their chocolate. Will definitely be going back

Recvd Nov. 26, 2020 and used it several days later for cheese fondue (made from scratch). Performed very well. Kept the cheese smooth and at the right temperature throughout dinner. The booklet and label on bottom of the warming unit state that it’s not for oil but a couple of reviewers used it for oil; I purchased it strictly for cheese or chocolate. Easy to clean. Allow any remaining cheese to cool and solidify then scrape it out with a metal spoon. Plop leftovers onto paper towel and toss into compost. Fill bowl with cold water and let sit for a while or overnight. Use a scrubber sponge and cold water to wash and remove any remaining bits of cheese. Then wash with dish soap and hot water. Spotless and ready for use again. Am very pleased with this purchase; it’s just the right size for 2 maybe 4 people depending on how hungry they are and what else is being served. Instructions state not to exceed max capacity of about 6 cups or 1.4 liters.

I love the product but unfortunately it has a US plug so had to look for holiday plug converter to use.
