Immediately upon opening the box you will see that the boot is very rugged. It’s a bit on the heavy side, but what do you expect. Very much contrasted with the inside of the boot which is very soft. I’m not sure if it’s water proof yet, but it is handling very well in deep snowy conditions for me so far. I don’t agree with any of the comments that suggest it is a cheaply made product – I would be shocked if this boot didn’t last for at least a couple decades. Listen to the recommendations and buy one size bigger than your regular shoe size, your foot should fit perfectly that way.

Warm, sturdy, attractive.
I got these for my 12 yr-old-son. He wears a size 12 (seriously!) so I got a 13 so they’d last longer (the kid grows like a weed! Lol) and he said they are a little big but not bad. When they first arrived he said he wasn’t going to wear them and didn’t like them. We had 20 inches of snow on the ground and I needed him to do an outdoor chore and told him to put the boots on. He said they are very warm. The next day he wore them without me telling him to! 😁
Mission accomplished! Money well spent.

I would love to give this a better review however the boots I ordered were too small and so I returned them with the printed return slip and was no refund anything other than $0.04. I did like the boots and would have liked them in a bigger size and had planned on buying a bigger size next winter however considering I paid $70 and have no boots I am VERY disappointed. My husband has a pair and they fit him and I really liked them for myself. If you purchase Don’t expect a refund if you want to return them

I wear a size 9.5 – 10 shoe, when I put these size 10 on I noticed right away the squishing in the toes area, like they are too short, the width is decent. Wearing normal socks. (My previous winter boots are size 9 and they are huge, would be nice if there was consistent sizing for all clothing!!!!)

I’m a terrible judge of size so I ordered them to small for my son but the boots themselves are amazing. Arrived in a timely manner and well made. I’ve ordered a size bigger in the same boot both my son and I were disappointed they didnt fit because they look very comfortable.

Full Summary: I am very impressed with this boot, especially given the price I paid ($46.99 US). I was looking for a boot I could slip on and off easily to take my dog out in the rain or snow. I looked at many boots online, including fashionable ones, but found myself leaning towards a truly functional waterproof boot regardless of looks.
The first time I wore the boots, I was very impressed that I could slip on a calf height boot with my size (14 US). I have had boots in the past and almost all I had to unlace virtually to the toe in order to get them on, especially if I had thick socks on. That is no problem with this boot. I never even touched the laces when I slipped them on.
At first, I noticed how comfortable and warm they felt with the Thinsulate lining. It was 30 degrees and raining and I just had on a pair of thin nylon dress socks from work. I walked out side and my feet never came close to being cold or wet.
The next thing I noticed, as I was walking in them, is how heavy and clunky they are. I actually had to adjust my gate to walk in them – imagine walking in those Japanese sandles where youd have to pick up your leg and intentionally take a step. It was odd, but this adjustment was mainly because they were so heavy and were a bit-oversized, so they slipped up and down my foot/leg while I walked. Overall, I am ok with that though because the oversizing will come in handy when I layer up for winter or maybe use hot packs on my feet at a football game (I will update on that when I try it later). I do believe if you lace them up tightly this slipping issue wont be much of an issue – again, I am using them mainly to take my dog out, so slipping off and on easily is fantastic.
They are extremely durable – my St Bernard puppy who is going crazy and chewing/tearing up everything we own right now tried to chew on the bottom of these and did absolutely zero damage to them – and I felt nothing too. It was funny watching him try and me just stand there and not say anything – he was disappointed he couldn’t make me react. HAHA.
The only real downfall I might give to these, although its not a huge issue for me given what I mainly use them for, is that they aren’t very pretty. They look as big and clunky as they feel. They definitely aren’t like the ladies Hunter fashion rain boots or any other fashionable waterproof boots. They built these for functionality and I’m fine with that.
I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for true waterproof functionality.

La botte est fait sur le petit…donc voir à prendre une grandeur complète plus grande ( si vous chaussez du 9 prendre un 10…et un 11 si vous comptez mettre des gros bas de laine à l’intérieur). J’ai acheté la paire de bottes pour mon gaçon, j’habite une région où il fait parfois -27C à -30C…et la journée suivante du -4C avec slush et fonte des neiges….donc dans les températures douces, ça pourrait passer mais au delà du -10C et -15C, sur de plus longues périodes, ça ne passe pas le test. La botte est tout de même fait de façon robuste et antidérapante.

Vivo en una zona fría y húmeda, estas botas las estoy usando a diario, al ser fáciles de quitar y poner, casi son mis nuevas pantuflas.
Son las primeras botas para la nieve que tengo, así que no tengo referencia para compararlas, pero éstas son extremadamente cómodas, calientes, no son pesadas. Primero sentí que estaban justas de tamaño, luego vi que el forro de fue amoldando y dejando más espacio para el pie. Pude meter mis plantillas ortopédicas sin problema. Las recomiendo ampliamente.

I first ordered size 10 and felt pressure on my toes. So I returned it and ordered size 11. To my surprise, they felt identical to size 10! Then I realized that it is the INSIDE LINER that is constraining my foot. There is plenty of space inside the boot, but the manufacturer probably uses the same smaller liner for different size boots, hence the problem.
