There is nothing worse than plastic threads that get chewed up by metal screws. Luckily that’s not a problem as this clamp comes with a metal thread socket.
The phone is secured through a screw-clamp system and the rubber inserts hold the phone snugly in place. I have shaken it hard with an old broken phone and it stayed in place.
You will be very satisfied. Neewer may have a tripod combo in which this is inluded, so keep your eyes open.

Finally someone put some thought into designing a holder. Can mount from two different points and really holds the phone in place via a clamp-down screw. You’ll love it!

Bought this for my Huawei P30 Pro for long exposures. Ideal for for the phone. It is sturdy and secure and easy to fit and adjust. I will use it with a Manfrotto pixi tripod.

I have bought this for a DJI Ronin rig to have the app on the phone right there to see how it performs and be able to change settings quickly. Coupled with a Neewer ball head mount and clamp, it is absolutely great for my needs. The price is great, it costs less than a similar item specifically designed for Ronin rigs. But this one is lighter, costs less and does the job.

Great mount. Love that it has a screw adjustment for the width to allow for phones of different sizes, and that the swivel from portrait mode to landscape works like a dream. Also the knob for adjusting the width for phones holds very snuggly when tightened down. You also don’t have to crank it down crazy tight for it to stay at the same position.
The extra ability to disconnect the mount from the swivel is also handy and with an extra ¼-20 threaded insert in another position this would easily allow adding a microphone or light.
This is sturdy and well made with a lot of thought as to how many different ways it could be used.
Would definitely recommend this to others and would buy one again.

As always with Neewer, product is always of good quality, would highly recommend buying Neewer products, bought a Neewer tripod for my camcorder, had a problem with the tripod head being sticky, contacted Neewer, expected a replacement tripod head, but they sent a totally replacement tripod, and they didn’t want the old one back, this is a company that really respects customer satisfaction, as this company respects customer satisfaction and supplies quality products i will only buy Neewer products for my videography hobby, can only highly recommend them

Been looking for something like this to attach my iphone to my iSteady GoPro gimbal so I can BT to the GoPro and see whats going on. This is a must have. Found much more expensive things on the web, so never pulled the trigger (like 5 times more expensive). Then, bam, found this on Amazon, and it is the ticket! Great too because you can attach a mini tripod and use it as a phone holder too!

For the price and compared to what I could have got for at least half the price I do not recommend this at all. I have lots of Neewer kit and I am generally a big fan.
The upright is far to thin and flexes in the wind not a strong one and ruins any long exposures etc.
There desktop tripod is fabulous but this is not good.

I liked the locking capability with the use of a tightening bolt mechanism!
I usually attach this smartphone bracket to a tripod and it works great, the phone stays in place with no issues!

This phone tripod mount ticks all the boxes. It’s well manufactured with a nice screw design making vertical/horizontal adjustments of the phone very easy. The mount is well cushioned to protect the phone exterior from scratches. I really like how the screw mechanism opens the mount to insert the phone rather than the more common spring mechanisms in other similar mounts – the screw mechanism feels safer and more secure when taking my phone in and out of the mount.

Decent smartphone holder and tripod adapter. It is made from plastic, so be careful not to force it or tighten the screws too much. Otherwise, the holder has a flexible design: it works in both portrait and landscape mode. The simplest mount uses only the holder part (the rotating support removed) screwed on the tripod head. A mini-tripod is the easiest option for desktop operation. For maximum flexibility, use the Neewer Z-Flex Tilt head as suggested in the photos (shown here in desktop operation).
This is the second holder I purchased (the other one was for a friend). Recommended for vlogging, teleconferences, etc.

I needed a tripod adapter for my iPhone 8. My iPhone is encased in an Otterbox casing, making it much thicker. This one works really well as its brackets can be adjusted wide enough to fit my iPhone. The build quality and the materials are okay. You can only rotate it in landscape or portrait but you cannot tilt it down or up; you need a ball head on your tripod to be able to do this, which I have. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I would recommend this to any iPhone owner who uses a case on their iPhones.
