It is a solid muslin backdrop and the color is only slightly lighter than shown in the picture. Overall, it is great product considering the price.
Having said that, it is shipped folded (as opposed to: rolled up). You will have to hang up the backdrop and brush out wrinkles/folds using a damp towel (you can also steam it). Given the size of the backdrop, this will take you at least an hour. The supplier’s FAQ suggests ironing out wrinkles — do not iron muslin! Ironing will create reflective spots that will show up on camera, which is something you want to avoid.
Since this is a video/photo backdrop, it is expected that there is something behind it. Light sources behind this backdrop will obviously shine through!

You will have to steam or iron out the folds, but once you do it’s pretty easy to maintain. It’s big and works well of you’re placing it against something solid to black-out, HOWEVER, it’s a tad thin so blacking out windows from light won’t work. It works well for me so I’ll still give it an overall 5… but be cognizant of what you’d need it for… but I guess having returns is what it’s for, if it down’t work for you.

I’m satisfied after all. But this muslin background is nothing more than a simple bedsheet. On the plus side, it is ironable and washable. This way it can be used multiple times. But I find it a little expensive for that price. The quality is average. Don’t expect anything extra from this. I made a video and please look at pictures. I hope my description helps you in your decision.

I normally do not write bad reviews for returned product, but I need to write this one to be a responsible person.
The product works fine, as it is only a green screen. However, when we were setting it up, all three people who got into contact with this material experienced severe coughing and even lung discomfort (one of us has asthma). We did not know that it is because of the green screen initially.
Later when we were cleaning the floor with vacuum, we got a huge amount of green lints that definitely came from the green screen (the only green fabric in the room). These lints are so tiny that you do not even notice before you inhale. I could not imagine having this piece of fabric in the room we work everyday.
For healthy concerns, I suggest Amazon to remove this item.

Great product, now here is the reason why you should ignore all the reviews that comment on not getting creases out, or having to iron a lot.
Those people do not know how to deal with a muslin backdrop on a stand.
If they had known about the stretch and spray method, all their problems would’ve gone away.
When you get a muslin backdrop, firstly make sure that you have a decent stand and several grips. Use two grips on the top of the stand with the backdrop threaded through and make sure it’s relatively tight. Use the grips to hold it in place. Then make sure that the backdrop is fairly tightly gripped down both sides of the stand.
Then, using a water bottle spray with hot water, liberally spray all over the backdrop, not too wet, but a nice even coverage. Leave to dry. You will need to do this several times, and also every so often slightly increasing the tightness of the backdrop to the grips on the side and top.
I received this product today, and already after two hours I have got all the creases out. It does take time, it does require attention, but using the stretch and spray method, no ironing is required, no steaming or anything. You can be up and running in a day with a crease free backdrop.
As far as the quality of the item is, it is very good. Thicker than some of the other backdrops I have had before which is a bonus. Currently I have the white one but on the basis of this one, I would not hesitate in purchasing again in different colours.

got this for my husband who wanted to start streaming his video gaming. You need to give this a quick wash b4 you put it up. and let it hang dry. The folds in it are pretty crazy but a fresh wash will take them out np. takes a bit to get the shadows out of it too but make sure you have really good lighting in the rite spots. thats key!!!! And you can’t corner these screens. has to be FLAT! He is using a mechanic working lite, a tall floor lamp without the shade and a tall table lamp with no shade. and his ceiling lite. seems to do the trick in his little corner.

I think the number one thing people who leave reviews about the less expensive photography equipment is that it’s less expensive photography equipment. In my opinion, the cheaper stuff is for people who are just starting out in photography and don’t want to spend a fortune on a hobby they might bail on. Professional photographers have likely been working in the field for long enough to be able to afford the pricier, better quality stuff. This backdrop is great for beginners like me. Yes, you can see through the cloth a bit but only if what’s behind it is lit up. Be sure to place it against a dark background and voila!! No problem. You’ll also have to iron it or be prepared to take out the wrinkles when you edit your photos. Again, not a big deal. It has a sewn fold-over at the top to run a bar through. The clips are also really grippy. Another answer to its slight translucency is to put a dark bed sheet behind it. Can’t beat the price!!

This is a great cost effective solution for green screening. Save on the cost of painting/designing your office space by using this green backdrop and add as fancy and expensive a virtual office as you want behind you. This works perfectly out of the box – creases and all. It will help if you have no creases. I would use a steamer rather than an iron – or just hang it – and the creases will fall out over time.
There is no stand or poles with it. So you will have to figure out your own mounting system.
Overall – very happy with this green screen. It’s a quality-feel material and the correct green.
