My Cinema Lightbox – The Mini Cinema Lightbox, LED Changeable Quote Sign To Create Personalized Messages, with 100 Letters

Had I not had an explosive mess all over my hands, being coated in burning hot battery fluid– I would have taken a picture of the mess that ensued. Upon reading the instructions of this sign, that I had purchased, I learned that you could not only use a USB to power the product but also batteries. As eager as I was to use it, I purchased BRAND NEW batteries based on the specs that the lightbox required and… after turning it on, having all the batteries in place… I hear a fizzing sound.

I look around trying to find the source because it surely couldn’t be this new product… and then… I grab ahold of the product and the power source is HOT. Then, I feel something damp. HOT and DAMP and to my horror I see this grey liquid beginning to pool out. I hasten to get the battery cover open, but it was a struggle. And ALL SIX BRAND NEW BATTERIES SEATED INSIDE– have exploded. A pool of foaming grey liquid coating the batteries and the inside of my brand new sign.

There I am, in a hurry to clean up the explosion while also trying to clean up my battery coated hands as I pry the exploded batteries out of their container. Now not only did I waste 25 dollars in buying a sign that I can’t use batteries to power, but I also wasted money in purchasing batteries to try and power the thing. Yes, there is the USB option to power it, but perhaps I wanted to be to use it for a project where it WASN’T connected to a power bank or outlet to power.

I’m unsure if anyone else has had this exact issue that I had, but if you want to use it– ONLY USE THE USB.

Does what it says. the right size for a kid’s room. Very bright and light setting is not adjustable – and only works with a USB, not wall socket, which surprised me since I clearly didn’t read the fine print. The letters are easy to put in – but also fall out easily. Kid loves it, particularly with the extra set of colored letters I bought.

This is the perfect lightbox size! I love how it can easily fit in a space while still having plenty of room for words or phrases. I also love that it’s white all around, just giving it a clean look. I purchased for a teen bedroom, but am getting ready to ask for one for my birthday too! It’d look so cute on my bar cart! Oh, and I was nervous about the size as a few reviews say it’s really small. So, to my surprise, it was bigger than I expected and just perfect in my mind. We have a few of the larger lightboxes in our home, and this one is my favorite!

This is the perfect gift. The only issue with this is you got to be very still once you got the letters on the box as they slip off very easily. I would also purchase an additional set of letters/numbers to give more flexibility in writing phrases.

So cute, I love that it came with its own cord and the option to use batteries. Super bright! The letters are easy to move around and gives it so many possibilities for where it could be displayed and what it can say. Bought this for my own bedroom but I would definitely give this as a gift.

I have nothing to say about this lightbox. My wife bought it for our daughter’s B-day decor, and never used it again. The only thing I remember wast that the power cord was on the short side, so I had to rearrange the table to set it up close to an outlet. Other than that, it does the job.
