The *one* time when I didn’t read the reviews. I actually believed what the seller said–that it would fit a 9-Pyrex glass pie pan. Nope. Too small in circumference by about 1/4″ all around. That’ll teach me!

Really was looking forward for this item to come to replace other that I bought but was greatly disappointed. It says it is to fit a 9 inch pie well it does not fit a 9 inch pie. Maybe an 8inch??? Liked that it was metal and easy to put on or remove from pie. But it does not fit……. Disappointed. I will keep it for a smaller pie.

These work great! But this 9 inch shield is too small for our regular 8-9 inch pie plates. It fits on the small foil disposable pie plates. Go one size bigger for the glass/ceramic pie plates

I have been using adjustable silicone pie shields and they are such a pain so I decided to buy this one and I will never, EVER go back! This one is so easy to use and fits perfectly over my favorite pie plate – the silicone ones are just a touch too small and fall off. As an added bonus I use this as a guide to cut my top crust to the perfect size and shape for the pie! I LOVE it! No burnt crusts here!

Received 21.05.20 two weeks earlier from the USA than predicted, which question what speed UK Royal Mail does. Item as described, happy with purchase. Packaging could do with vast improvement however.

The stated diameter of the 10″ pie shield is 26.7 cm, which should be 10 1/2 inches. The actual diameter is 29.5 cm or 11 1/2 inches. As shown in the attached photo it barely covers the lip of a 9 inch pie tin.
The stated diameter of the 9″ pie shield is 22.9 cm which is 9 inches which is too small for a 9″ pie tin. Believing the stated diameter I ordered the 10″ thinking it would be perfect for a 9″ (9 1/2 actual) pie. I was wrong.

I use this pie ring baking pies, quiche, anything with a round pie crust. I’m thoroughly happy with the results. As well, many people have commented on it and I have recommended it to my friends and family.

Unfortunately, the 9” did not cover the rim of my 9” glass pie plate. I had also ordered the 10” but that turned out to be wayyy to big.
I think this may be made for aluminum or tinfoil pie plates.

This works great in preventing my pie crusts from burning. I wish it was adjustable, but that is my fault, wasn’t paying attention. It is pretty sturdy, although I have only used it about 3 times. It works for my 9 inch pie, a little large but still works fine.

The description says the product is 26.67 cm (10.5 inches ) when it is 29.5 cm (11.5 inches )
It is way too big for my needs

I read that this would also be fine for my 9″ pie dish, but it’s too wide and doesn’t cover the edge. I haven’t used it yet, so if anyone wants to buy it from me at a reduced price (plus postage – only within EU), please feel free to reply here and we’ll sort something out.

I had previously ordered Mrs. Anderson’s 10 inch pie crust shield for my 9″ inch metal pie plates. It was far too big. So, in my innocense I ordered Mrs. Anderson’s 9″ inch pie crust shield for my 9″ inch metal pie plates and it was far too small. Apparently there is NO WINNING when you buy from Mrs. Anderson’s. Don’t waste your money!!
