I’m an actress and needed this equipment to hold up my heavy backdrop. First of all, I ordered at night and it arrived the next morning, which was incredibly fast! It is easy to assemble, sturdy, does a great job at holding the backdrop and is easily packed into a convenient bag, which I can carry. I love this product and highly recommend it!

I needed a stand for a green screen. I may update once I get the greenscreen up, but for the price it is what I needed.
Pros:
– price
– lightweight and compact
– easy to assemble
– carry bag
– sandbags. (fill the bags and put them on the stands and it gets a lot sturdier. Not going to wobble)
– 3 clamps — are strong enough, as long as the backdrop threads through the crossbar like a curtain.
Cons:
– Not designed for super heavy stuff, but should support a backdrop for sure.
– 3 clamps (depending on what you’re hanging) may not be enough if it doesn’t “thread” through the crossbar
If you want something super sturdy, then you’re going to have to spend some money on an actual C-stand or something. One C-stand is about 3 or 4 of these kits in price. Not worth it to me, but I’m not suspending thousands of dollars worth of stuff from it either.
This should be perfect for my purposes.

So I recently opened my packaged and through the boxes out expecting that everything would be ok. I open the package and realize that the leg for one side is cracked and it wouldn’t stand let a lone hold the actual backdrop together or up. I contacted Amazon and Amazon said to contact the manufacture as they should be sending me a replacement. Then I get in touch with the manufacture with the help of Amazon CSR and the manufacturer tells me that I need to contact Amazon for a return. I don’t get how im being given the run around. Honestly i’m a pro when it comes to the Photography and I just though this would be a quick thing but after working with this product and the manufacturer I would recommend anyone who wants something like this to go to BH or Vistek or Henry’s or any other PRO online store that would provide a metal product . The difference in cost is a hundred bucks but well worth the investment.

It is very easy to assemble. I did most parts without the instructions except the part I needed to connect the bars together with a washer. The instructions isn’t very clear, but overall assemble is very easy. If you are not tall enough, I would suggest two people do it together. I was able to assemble it together by myself. It comes with two empty sand bags. I have an active preschooler at home, so I’m afraid she knock it over, so I put kids bean bags in those two sandbags to add some weights on the legs. If you assemble it correctly and just leaving it somewhere flat, I think it is a very stable backdrop support. It is easy to re-assemble and put it in the bag provided. It is light weight and can be carry anywhere you want. Very practical if you want to use it as a backyard movie screen stand. I would suggest manufacture re-do the instructions with clear photos. Overall, it’s a very practical purchase and doesn’t take up a lot of spaces!

I am very happy with my new backdrop stands. I move around a lot for my shoots using public transportation and the kit is light and easy to carry when not assembled. The stands were easy to put together and are surprisingly sturdy. I bought the smaller one and wound up buying a second longer one the next day. Love how affordable they are. Fillable sandbags are included in the kit, which is great for outdoor shoots. At home, I actually use the stands are room dividers, and they are wonderful for that too.

I assembled this stand single-handedly with ease using two of the four top beams (attaching the crossbar first, then raising it), and because I was worried about some of the strength comments below, tested the frame by hanging a comforter from the top bar. It’s completely secure. The rig is so big, I don’t have enough space in my little apartment to test it out in fully-expanded configuration (using all 4 top beam units), but I did assemble the entire length and held it by one end to see, and it’s very sturdy aluminum–there was no bend at all. Don’t do chin-ups on the thing and you won’t have a problem. This is great value for money.
The Console –
Arrived in a timely manner and is exactly as advertised. Product was easy to assemble and is sturdy. I like that it comes with a carrying case that makes it very portable and the sand bags are a nice touch.

I just received my package today and set up my backdrop frame. It was a really quick and easy setup process no tools required. Forgive my picture as my backdrop has not arrived yet so I tried this out with a blanket. I only used 2 of the cross bars, there are another 2 cross bars if I want to make the frame wider. The height is at the highest setting. It comes with a carry bag so when you’re not using the frame you can easily store away. It seems sturdy and the 4 clips are durable. It also came with 2 sandbags to attach to the bottom of the tripods for added stability. Sand not included. For the easy assemble time, sturdiness and everything the overall price is a good value.

Took me about 15 mins to put together and I like that the height & width is adjustable & after your’e done, you just pack it up in the duffle and store (huge space saver) One of the screws was missing but I had extra and made it work. I used it with a light backdrop for an birthday at home. If you plan on using drapery as backdrop for an event( sequins, curtains etc), makes sure the drapes are uber light as It will most likely not be sturdy enough for for that type of scenario( even with the sandbags provided). May have to use extra weights at the bottom(without damaging it) to keep it from tipping over.

Only lasted a year. Bought last year at the beginning of the pandemic. Ive used it for a few small events, haven’t used it since November. I took it out a few weeks ago for another graduation party, and the locking mechanisms wouldn’t keep the height locked. Pulled out the top part and the springs were just hanging around in there. Tried to figure out where they go and couldn’t find it. Loved it the 3 times I used it, sturdier than other ones I had. But the others have lasted me a few years, this one, unfortunately did not.

Item was described as having minor cosmetic/ surface damage. It definitely has one large, deep scratch but also one stand is damaged and does not function properly. The internal spring mechanism is detached and the sections pull apart when setting up, which they are not supposed to, so that’s much more than cosmetic or surface damage. I would have returned it if I had not needed it right away. Also it came poorly packaged. The box was half open and the pieces seemed to be just tossed in. It was not packed into its carrying case. So for the small discount offered due to cosmetic damage I would say this is not as advertised. In fact probably the worst Amazon purchase I’ve made. But again, I needed the stand immediately so it will have to do. The stand itself does the job, although I would say is lighter weight than I expected. It does hold an 86″ x 36′ roll of seamless, but the cross bar sags making it hard to get the paper smooth. I’ll have to look for some way of stiffening the cross bar. It does go nice and high and wide so in that way is perfect for the studio, just could be a bit more sturdy.
