The jacket was very cute but way too small for my 10 year old daughter. It was a little more on the thin side as well, was scared to rip a hole in it. The largest size would fit an average 9-10 year old! My daughter is just way too tall for this.
They were quick to refund and I purchased a ladies size instead.

It’s a perfect baggy fit for my 35 lbs, 5 year old and keeps her dry. It will still fit next summer I think. It seemed like it had some more “bulk” to it in the pictures but it is quite thin and will not provide any warmth which is fine with a sweater underneath. Late spring and summer use only in southern Ontario.

I was aware that these jackets come up small, so got a 13 yr old jacket for my 10 year olds thinking this would be OK. They weren’t, they’re CRAZY small, a standard 8 year old might find them comfy over a blazer but that’s about it. I can’t quite work out what Mountain Warehouse were thinking when they sized these, they’re usually pretty good on sizing.

Just as I expected from reading other reviews–just a shell, and sizing is very small (my son is small for 10 year old and I got him a 13yo size), but great quality and love that the seams are taped so it’s actually waterPROOF! We are in BC and this is perfect for our needs! Awesome for the price.

For our Canadian climate this jacket is perfect because it is warm enough to protect my granddaughter from the wind and rain that our spring / summer brings. I know she will be able to wear it well into the fall, making it very versatile. She totally treasured her jacket and loved the color (which was her favorite)! The jacket is well constructed and was delivered in a timely fashion as indicated when ordered.

This is the final straw buying clothes off the internet. Never again…. It’s pot luck whether you’re going to be sent Asian or European sizes. This one is so small it’s hilarious. Age 7-8 jackets are bigger than this one.
Bought a 11-12 for my 6 year old granddaughter after reading so many reviews about the sizing. Believe the reviews, these are horrendously undersized. She’s slightly taller than average but it only just reaches the top of her thighs, not much room underneath & snug across the shoulders with just a t-shirt underneath. God only knows what size she will be in when she reaches 11-12!!!!
As for the quality of the jacket – the material seems to be of a good quality, seams are taped & description says breathable but why oh why doesn’t the pockets have zips or at least a velcro fastening? Rain is just going to run down the jacket into the pockets. Pointless. I’d rather it didn’t have any pockets than ones that will create a pool of water inside the jacket when it rains.

These sizes are very small for the age group the sizing goes with. The quality seems good. It is listed as size 11-12 and I am giving it to my granddaughter (size8) Age 6 instead. I am aware they have sizing chart which I didn’t use as the kids were not home to measure. I used it based on my experience with retail stores and their sizing. I was wrong.

I bought the 5-6 and it fit my daughter nicely, she normally wears 5t.
Light weight, packs small. Good for warm rainy day. I would like to see a version that had a lining for warmth, but I know that would make it heavier and bigger.
This jacket weighs hardly anything and fits in my purse. I would buy one for the whole family.

I bought a jacket for a yr 13. As my son is currently in a 11-12. In terms of width plenty of room which I was expecting handy to go over thicker tops. I was expecting it to be a little longer. I like the fact it comes in a bag. Handy for throwing in the car etc. It doesn’t have adjustable cuffs just elasticated cuffs. But I am sure it will do the job. Smart looking to boot.

Great; lightweight & waterproof. It came rolled up in a little carry pouch and overall is great value for money. Bought for my 7 year old; I ordered age 9-10 after reading reviews on it being smaller in size. It fits him great as long as he isn’t wearing anything too bulky. If you want this to be worn over thick jumpers, my advise is go 2 sizes too big. Great quality item overall. Highly recommend.

Bought for my son to pack away in his school bag as he catches the train to and from school. Very useful for occasional showers. Bought this to match his school blazer. Bought a few sizes up as it comes quite small. It is not insulated in anyway so bear that in mind for winter. He’s been caught in the rain quite a few times and it has kept the upper half of him dry. Recommended.

Bought size 13y for a 10yr old. Not even close to being able to fit. Not big enough for 8yr old boy, either. I would say the 13y size is like a NA girls 6/7.
Bought for a trip and afraid I won’t be able to use it. Not very sturdy, it would be ok as an emergency outer layer in a pinch if it fit at all.
Returns process is very convoluted and took several emails to get info from seller, who responded promptly and was friendly enough.
In all, it’s very unlikely I would buy from this company again.

It’s really a plastic bag texture jacket. Nothing like in the picture. I guess it’s suitable for warmer countries or summer rain in Canada. Not fall season worthy. The material is way too light and plasticky ! The picture is not at all like the actual jacket. Very disappointed ☹️.
