I was not expecting much from these shoes – needing something in a pinch to last until winter boot weather. My son has been wearing them for about 2-3 months and they’re already falling apart (ie. sole is pealing off). Like I said in my headline, you get what you pay for.

I am sorry to report this about a Mountain Warehouse item (I haven’t had a problem with their stuff before) but these are really poor quality shoes.
They look nice and they appear to be of good quality and my son and I were very pleased with them when they arrived. However, the rubber sole wore down much too quickly, wrecking the shoe in under six weeks of regular wear. See my photo below. This is a photo of the worst shoe, but the other is also going the same way. My son doesn’t usually wreck shoes – he grows out of them and then passes them down to his younger brother in reasonable condition. But this pair will be going straight in the bin. I definitely would not buy again or recommend this item to anyone.

These shoes are amazing. They have lots of grip on the sole and are made well. They also look really good once my daughter put them on (unlike some camping style gear you can buy for kids that looks really uncool).
My 7yr old daughter is taking these with her on her first Brownies camping trip away from home. The fact the shoes don’t have laces is a great bonus – i won’t have to worry about her tripping over!
The sizing is quite wide. However my daughter does have very slim petite feet, so most shoes end up being a bit wide on her.
Over all a great pair of shoes for an amazing low price!

I bought these for my son for school as they seem to be light and breathable and reasonably priced. They got delivered fine. No problem with the seller. However the quality of the shoes is very poor. We’re now mid July and admittedly my son wore the shoes every at school but it’s only been three months and I had to bin them. The rubber at the front disappeared like snow in the sun and now one of the shoes is so breathable that I can see the toes through.
Only one week and a half to go before summer break but I have to buy new ones.

These shoes will not long last.. my son only wore them for a few weeks and it’s already ripped torn and scoffed from multiple places .. don’t waste your money! I did not expect the quality to be so bad!

I would just like to point out that it is normal for a young kid to go through a pair of shoes within a month or two after receiving them if you do not agree then your just lying to yourself 😉

It’s a nice pair of shoes, but I find it very wide, but otherwise, no issues. I like the reflective strip on the back of the shoes. My son said they are good shoes, but he does through shoes every 2-3 months, so hopefully it’ll last that long.

This trainers look great, quite wide and light, comfortable; however literally fell apart in 30 days, I’ve never seen anything like that at all. I have a normal boy who does normal boys things but nothing eccentric. His usual school shoes last him about 6 months.
The price was great and I didn’t expect them to last for too long but I never thought shoes can fall apart like that: everything the sole the straps like magic

Did not expect a product of this quality from moutainware house. Bought in August 2020. My son started using it in October 2020 and in Jan 2021 this is what the shoes look like ( pictures attached). I dont have to say in words ,the image speaks for itself.
One can argue that boys are boisterous and use it roughly but still I would not expect this from a company like mountainware house . My sincere advise ,dont buy this shoe !

Mes jumeaux trouvent leurs nouvelles chaussures parfaites. Confortables, aérées, légères et de la bonne grandeurs! Pour ma part très satisfaite de ne pas avoir payé un prix de fou pour des espadrilles surtout pour enfants, ils grandissent si vite. Merci😇
