I was really excited to get these based on other reviews. However, the ones that came are not the same as in the picture. The handles are different and of really low quality. They look like they’ve been glued on and are not what was advertised in the pictures. The mugs are also scratched up already. They are also already tarnished! Honestly they look like they’ve been used before…..not what I was expecting, especially for the price. Really dissapointed with these.

These are absolutely not 100% copper. They are very thinly coated mugs, with god knows what as the main material. I bought these not for alcohol – but for drinking water, and that too purified water (Copper has great attributes cleansing and energies, etc.)
Within 2 weeks, this is what’s happened to the mugs (corrosion, the “copper” lining wearing off.) They’re going straight into the garbage at this point.

The mugs were very well packaged, so no worries about being damaged. They arrived just before our Christmas party and were an absolute hit! The Moscow Mule is delicious and stays so nice and cool in the copper mugs. Would definitely recommend and will be buying more for gifts!

Now that I have a beard due to COVID-19, I felt that I needed a pewter goblet. I took a look at pewter goblet prices on the internet and quickly changed my mind.
I didn’t want a cheap, rinky-dink pewter goblet. I wanted a pewter goblet that was manly enough to stand the test of time, and apparently the high quality ones run three figures or more.
For one.
So I decided that a brass tankard would be a good second place. Brass tankard? Yeah, for a high quality one your still looking at around fifty bucks. Each.
Fine. Let’s go look at Moscow Mule mugs.
The quality and craftsmanship of these mugs is fine enough so that it didn’t feel like a compromise. Plus, I got four of them, so I can serve guests with them as well.
Now here is where it gets interesting. I don’t drink much. I get a kick out of when I hear other people say that, as they always seem to qualify it with “I usually only drink a couple of nights a week, and I typically only have 3-4”. Well, where I come from, that’s “a lot”. The way I drink? I like to taste fine spirits and wines when they come along, but I definitely do not like to drink enough so that I can feel it.
So why did I want a pewter goblet? Or a brass tankard?
Or these fine Moscow Mule mugs?
Because if you’ve never experienced drinking a cold beverage out of cold copper, then you haven’t experienced life to its fullest.
When it’s 115 outside, and I spend a couple of hour moving stuff around in my yard, I’m going to be thirsty. An ice cold glass of whatever served in a copper mug has the effect of cooling my entire soul. It’s a blissful, almost transcendent experience.
You should try it with a beer for me and let me know what you think. .

I’ve had these for a year, but I would say after 6 months of using them (never placed in dishwasher), these mugs produce a bad taste/smell. Ad says they don’t tarnish but take a look at the picture, not the best but it does show it happens, also the inside is a definite dull colour. The outside has definitely lost its shine it has when it was new. That’s not really why I rated them 1 star though, it’s mainly the smell/taste they now produce with any beverage, almost like that plastic bag taste. Anyways, they just turned into a decorative set in our glass cabinet but now we are donating them to VV, as I wouldn’t get any money back from these.

These are great attractive solid copper mugs. Great for drinks on the patio. Came in a great box for gifting. I received this product as a house warming gift. Liked it and bought another set for my other place.

I was really excited to get these because the had good reviews and claimed to be 100% copper. But what I got in the mail was ones was low quality. They feel ‘rough, like they have sharp burrs and are pitted already without ever being washed!!. The handles are glued on and have lots of gross black sauder or glue. I dont think they are as good as advertised The mugs are also scratched up on the outside and are pitted inside too! Right out of the box they are already tarnished! THEY LOOK USED!!
The straws are VERY sharp… not safe for use!
….. NOT THE QUALITY I WAS EXPECTING FOR THE PRICE!! price. Really dissapointed with these.
I ordered 2 sets… so same review for both!
8 mugs and 6 of them were very bad, only 2 looked “ok” … i would not recommended!!

We searched for some time for copper Moscow Mule Mugs that were not lined with another metal. I was worried reading all the reviews on similar products, and skeptical. These mugs are great. Beautiful hammered finish and exactly what we hoped for. Everything arrived exactly on time and the seller kept in touch and followed up to make sure we were satisfied. We made our first Moscow Mules in these mugs the other night, and they were a hit!

Update 4/6/19: the selller contacted me regarding my original review. I was told the product I received was a defective and I likely received one that had been returned to the warehouse instead of brand new. They were apologetic and sent me a set of new mugs in hopes I would change my review. Upon inspection, these mugs ARE drastically better than the ones I previously received. No tarnish and not scratched on the bottom. I really appreciate that they care enough to acknowledge and rectify a bad product and customer experience, especially when not even based in the US. I have, in fact, changed this review to reflect a much better outcome than originally experienced. Looking forward to trying these mugs out (after baby arrives)!

After the First Wash you can already see those dark marks. I don’t know if copper is supposed to have those that quick. Won’t maintain the temperature for long, it’s thin. But it’s very cute.

They are fantastic. They really do keep your drink cold for a long time. I had a Moscow mule last
Night and it was still very cold by the time I had finished it which was around two hours. I would suggest this mug for not just Moscow miles but all drinks. They are great.
