It’s annoying when you order something so simple but receive it with damage.. Too complicated to even return it and I can’t even use it.. Since the ropes broke and stuck on the hole..

These are beautiful real and simple shelves.
They are better than expected.
The reason I only gave 3 stars for sturdiness is so that people reviewing the reviews about the product do understand that these are exactly as advertised and yes are less sturdy than a typical floating shelf, generally attached using two or more points of contact and appearing flush with the wall.
If you don’t counterweigh these shelves properly they will tip over.
The price for two shelves is money well spent.

I got these to use for something beside my bed and they’re exactly what I was expecting. I read previous reviews and was concerned about the glue on the bottom of ropes and the screws to hold the shelves.
The glue isn’t a big deal to me, use a brown marker and color it, can’t notice it.
The screw isn’t the prettiest but again not a big deal because I can always go to a hardware store and get something nicer.
You get what you pay for and I’m surprisingly happy with this purchase.

Terrible! Not sure what I received but nothing like pictures or what other people have Recieved. My boards are 1/4″ not 0.79″ thick and the rope is like a shoe lace not that rustic thick rope. Sent pictures off to company and they say they don’t see the problem which I have explained to them?! Crazy. Con artists. RIP OFF ALERT

Not sure how these even can hold anything. I liked the look of them but didn’t even think about it. The wood part just falls forward. Don’t even think about putting anything remotely heavy on it.

Just had our bathroom renovated and I wanted some shelves in there but I didn’t want to have to drill into the tiles, with a simple Command hook adhered to the tiles these are perfect. They’re simple and I guess ‘handy’ ppl could probably make them themselves but for me, I think they’re lovely and definitely value for money

These shelves have an awesome rustic look, they’re exactly what we were looking for. They’re easy to install which is what I look for. So they look great, but what are they like as a shelf?
Your not going to be able to put much on these, photo frames, candles and artificial plants etc. are all you’re going to get on these. Given the way you mount them, anything other than that, or any more than one objects on each side of the shelf will cause it to go wonky and lip sided. Again because of the rope and the way it’s mounted there’s a slight tilt, with the part of the shelf touching the wall being lower than the outer facing part.
But I love these shelves, they look great and give a nice rustic look.

Nothing like the picture. Great nobules of white glue on the rope knots – visibly seen. They cannot hang straight as ropes are wrong.
The quality of the shelves and the rope is not like the picture. Do not spend your this amount of money on them. They are ok but not even worth half the price unfortuntely.

Was very disappointed with the quality. The ropes were glued at the knots and there was a lot of visible excess glue on them, also the ropes were different lengths which would be difficult to change due to the glued ropes. I returned them as for the price I expected better quality.

My unit showed up with poorly drilled holes, and a little bit of damage to the top face of one unit. I contacted CS for support and they responded to my emails with reasonable speed, and addressed my issues effectively. This would be a 3 star review for the product (imho not bad considering i got one that was a little mangled), but im bumping it to 4 because there was a real human on the other side providing support.

Nice product. However I cannot seem to get the ropes to look perfectly even. Also because it’s made like a swing when you put the ropes on the wall it pulls up on the front giving it a slight slope into the wall. Could be a good thing though to keep things from falling off.
