I’ve tried cheaper faraday bags before and found they didn’t work for even my car keys. this is a very robust one that works flawlessly, it’s a bit expensive but worth it if you’re using it store emergency supplies in a B.O.B., etc. I find the little see through pouches on the front a bit useless though to be honest and feel that they should at least have a version without that for a bit less in price (I would buy multiples of those). but perhaps that’s just me being a bit too nit picky, otherwise these are solid bags. I was able to fit my watch, flashlight and car key fob inside it with a bit more room to spare for maybe a charger or two.

(update November 7 2020, this phone bag has stopped working, phone rings, texts messages are coming through when in the bag. I did a test, wifi only and cell data only playing a youtube video and putting it in the bag as directed the video never stopped playing and YES I allowed a couple of minutes because of video buffering) Changed 5 star rating to 1.
When I remove my phone the display states NO SERVICE and WIFI is not connected. It takes sometimes up to 20 seconds for my phone to reconnect and text messages and emails start coming through. The pouch is big enough to also add a small portable charger so the phone tops up while disconnected from the grid. These will become more popular when people start to realize that they are carrying around a tracking/surveillance devices (cellphones). The new 13.5 iOS Apple update sneaks a contact tracing app into iPhones but APPLE has since removed that text from the update description.

Doesn’t block out WiFi, still get email notifications and notifications from cctv camera when in the bag. Not anywhere near as secure as I had expected, very disappointed. Does block out mobile network signal as no calls or texts were received. Very expensive for a faraday bag that is not effective.

I was looking for a case/bag that would house 2 large bunches of keys, mine and my wife’s. All the key fob cases only looked large enough to house a single fob, possible 2 at a push. This bag is large enough to easily accommodate 2 bunches of keys. Well made tough material and the Velcro fastening keeps the bag securely fastened. Most importantly though my car won’t unlock with the keys in the bag. Yes it was a lot more expensive than alternatives but I’m happy with both the size and quality and is a small price to,pay for the security of my vehicle.

This is not the cheapest option, but it’s the best quality. So if you’re like me, you’ll spend a little more to get the best, and that’s what this is. I’ve bought 3 of these phone sized faraday bags, 1 key fob and 1 laptop/tablet bag from Mission Darkness so this is my 5th purchase and everything is perfect. I’m an executive and I need to keep my company and clients information safe and secure, this does the job and saves me worrying about fraud… Cheers!

When I ran the test, as per the videos MOS has on their YouTube channel, the bag failed. Somehow, the paper affected the bag’s ability to ground out the signals. When I ran the test the same way a third time, this time without a paper shielding the screen, it blocked 100% of all of the signals reaching the phone. I am now a 100% confident that when my phone is in airplane mode and is properly secured in the bag, my data is secure and not susceptible to string rays. I also bought the Key FOB pouch and works 100% of the time in every test. I also tested my Apple Watch with the “Find My Phone” app, and when sealed in a bag, Apple could not locate the watch.

I bought this Faraday bag mostly for my car keys (2019 Kia Sorento SXL). I think it’s the perfect size for car keys: I have tried some cheaper/smaller Faraday bags, but they did not provide the same level of security as my in-car tests had shown. Smaller cheaper alternatives worked, say, around 80% of time for me, but they were not reliable at all times. I guess blocking the electronic signals is a complex process that does require some professional specialty and high quality materials, as is the case of Mission Darkness bag. The bag has a solid feel of high quality made and it’s passed my rigorous tests every time I tried since my purchase in Aug 2019. The only minor Con I can think of is the sealing process of Mission Darkness bag: the Velcro seal at the bag opening is tight and not the easiest to open. Yet I believe this is probably the only effective way to seal signals inside perfectly, because I suspect some failures of cheaper/smaller Faraday bags on me may be due to their opening/closing design: Bag closing does need to be tight? Mission Darkness bag is a bit more expensive than average Faraday bags, but I am very happy with my purchase because my new car is worth more than $50k and I don’t want to take any chance losing it to Relay Attacks that have happened in Toronto quite a few times as learned from the news. So, 5 stars overall to Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag!

It’s a nice quality bag – well made. The fabric is not unattractive.
We have two big bunches of keys with remote car keys attached to them. They both fit in this bag without any problem.
Not sure how effective it is, as haven’t figured out a way to effectively test the accessibility of the keys whilst they’re in the bag!

Having had a poor experience with a non-performing Faraday bag I wanted to ensure this one would protect my key fobs and mobile phone. I tested it thoroughly and no signals of any type penetrated the material. I think the double folding top is the key to this level of protection. It’s also big enough to contain the biggest of mobile phones plus a couple of car keys. I sent a question the seller and they were excellent in the speed and nature of their response. It might not be the cheapest Faraday bag on the market but it’s an excellent product from an excellent supplier in my opinion.

This bag does work. I was visiting someone who is even more neurotic than myself regarding privacy & forgot to leave my phone at home. As soon as the person heard my phone message notification, they freaked. Thankfully I had this bag in my pocket. I just stuck my phone in there, had them call my phone to be sure there really was full blockage, and all was well 😂 It serves its purpose as far as in concerned.
I also spend a lot of time in the bush and detest when my phone is disrupting the peace & irradiating me as I’m walking. So I use this bag. That way I can still take photos when I want to. I can also use my phone’s location function in case of an emergency, because I’m usually alone out there, 3-4 hours into the forest, sometimes more. Could wind up saving my life if I get injured. The bag gives me the freedom from technology that I demand, yet still allows me to access that technology when need be.
Will be buying bigger bags from this company in the future for maintaining location privacy when travelling for all my electronics like laptop etc. Nobody’s damn business where I’m going other than myself & who I choose to share that information with.
Lastly, the bag is very well made. Great stitching, thick material, takes a beating with no issues. The only thing I can think of to improve it is to make it 100% waterproof. That way if it gets dropped into the ocean or a stream as I’m walking, no problem. Still have my emergency beacon with me 😁
