Put together and lots of the screws weren’t fitting adequately and not even a few weeks look at the damage and my baby doesn’t even go to the box. I can’t use it cause the screws can hurt her and because I set it up
late I missed the return window. Very upset and dissatisfied.,

Assembly was a little tough for my weak wrists because instructions advise no power tools. I’m a little concerned about slipperyness of the seat. Although there is some minor anti slip protection I’m probably going to add up adding a layer of rug saver. The handles are really nice to move it around the kids room and it comes with 3 of each letter so I can put both my kids names on it.

Do NOT waste your money.
I am not one to write a hateful review, but this toy box has slowly and surely completely fallen apart, and almost smashed my year-and-a-half old son’s hand. I should’ve known better. Originally, when very FIRST assembling, the right hinge (1/3) broke and totally ripped out of the box, both the back and top. This made the slow close bar impossible to attach on the right. My husband fixed it up and made it work. This should have never happened on our part.
Today— my son opens his toy box, as normal, and the middle and left hinge break, dropping the top of the toy box down into the toys, but the left slow close bar is still attached. Not realizing this happened, he reaches for the top and pulls it shut. The lid slams down on the right and almost gets his hand, as well. This is completely unacceptable!
I will say, when it was together, it appeared sturdy and appropriate. But in time, it has broken beyond use.

This is great!!! We had a cube organizer from Walmart for my 3 year old son’s toys and it was a total eye sore! This is perfect! It hides all his toys but makes them easily accessible to him. Love that it has the safety arms to keep the lid up. It was missing a couple screws but I just went to the local hardware store and picked some up.

A few reviews complain about getting this put together? The instructions were clear – all parts fit correctly and note that if the base board is installed the right way round, the screws are recess into the wood and the unit can be used on any surface without scratching it! The lid mechanism also works well and tgg hi e unit had a nice glossy finish.
Only criticism is that the thickness of the front board could do with being a little thicker, where the cam locks are positioned, the front board bulges slightly when they tightened- however, being white means that this doesn’t show too much.

I’m a handy guy but this is a pretty easy build for almost anyone if you’re able to read instructions and don’t rush it. The troubleshooting guide on the back page potentially saved me from getting the hinge orientation wrong. I used my own screwdrivers because the tool shipped with it is kinda small for my hands. It was packaged solidly so no damage is likely to happen in shipping.

-The product came undamaged and nicely packaged
-Assembly was easy, although the screwdriver tool that came in my package was too small for the bigger lock
screws, so I’d recommend having your own flat head or phillps screwdriver for the assembly. Material is great
quality & sturdy. Shocks for the lid assembly work great and are very safe for the kiddo’s fingers. Gloss paint
finish looks great and super easy to wipe down
-The only other thing I should mention here, and the only reason the product receives 4 stars from me is that the
bottom of the toy box rests on the exposed screw heads. This isn’t a problem on carpet, but we have hardwood
so I had to go grab some felt tabs to cover them as to not scratch up our floor. I feel like this should be included
with the product.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product for sure!

After reading previous reviews I had mixed feelings about whether to purchase this item or not but loved the look of it so decided to take a chance. Delivery was timely so that’s a positive, but one of the panels came with some chipped damage on it which I decided to let go as it was on the bottom side so unlikely to be seen. Assembly was okay for me but the instructions weren’t great, however on installing the last spring arm I encountered the problem that the lid kept popping up open again. On the instructions there were 2 possible solutions for this issue, neither of which applied to me so I called the company direct and they came to the conclusion it was faulty spring arms. They sent me a new set which on installation fixed the issue for about 3 open/close tries and then the spring arm with the hinge completely popped off the back panel snapping down shut rendering it useless and completely unsafe for my toddler. I was very disappointed as I really loved the style and finish, along with fast shipping and the fact that Amazon gave me a full refund without having to deal with disassembling and returning it that’s why I gave it two stars.

Belle qualité de coffre, pas parfaite mais bonne finition. La housse du coussin se lave, très pratique! Par contre vraiment TRÈS déçue de voir qu’il n’y a aucun feutre ou protège-vis fournis sous le coffre. Sans ça, plancher brisé c’est certain. À défaut de modifier le meuble, il aurait été apprécié que des protecteurs soient fournis en conséquence.

I’m writing this review because I am extremely impressed with this toy chest.
Firstly, the parts and instructions were laid out so beautifully – making it very easy to assemble. It still took some time, but that’s because this is a quality product.
It is made of real wood, not cardboard/plywood/whatever cheap materials others may use. This wood is beautifully painted.
All in all, an excellent product that I’m very glad I purchased.

For 135$, I wasn’t expecting a wonderful, 100% real wood chest of course. But, I wasn’t expecting a chest that cheap neither. It’s easy to build, but easier to unbuild… It will unbuild itself overtime, and it won’t take long for that to happen. That chest his for toys, children will use it, and they aren’t known to go easy on things. I made a terrible decision purchasing this…don’t make the same mistake.
