This unit does the job, but barely. I wouldn’t recommend that you buy it unless you’ve got your own geek that can fight through apn setup with poor documentation.
The TKStar app is mostly useless and I mostly use sms commands to program and control my tracker. This works for me, but again, not ideal for non-technical users. The manual only lists a couple of sms commands, but if you search “TK905 SMS” there’s some better lists available.
My primary issue with this unit is that due to its size, the antennae are ineffective. It often loses both GPS and cell signal. It is also very slow at times to respond to commands. I think that’s due to poor cell reception.
A better app and improved documentation are needed before I would recommend to others.

OK, so I expected it to last far longer, but apparently, in order to turn this thing off, you need to pull the sims card, not at all what I thought it was. I figured that I would be able to turn off whenever I wanted from using the app. The directions on this item are absolutely awful as well. I am not sure who wrote them but clearly, this person had no idea on proper order on a piece of paper. They are all over the place and I swear they are over thinking the directions. They are not in a step by step configuration at all, and they are trying to explain everything else before simply step by step guide you through the configuration. I bought three of them and I am seriously thining about sending them all back, they are awful, and I feel I wasted my money.

This is a great GPS, small, easy to set up & use !!!
Works well not only in US but everywhere. I use it in CR with a movistar SIM and no issues.
Batery lasts between 4-5 days…

The battery life only lasted 2 days and I only checked my location 6 times.
In Canada BC the cheapest plan was $45 NOT $10.
Definitely not what I was hoping for.
Also I could not get the remote listening to work despite the support.
The support was okay. Because of the time change you definitely had to wait for the answers. The app was good but could definitely be better.
I have a feeling in a year or two it will be an awesome little device.

Battery has lasted 7 days for me and the real times app tracking settles in to pretty damn close after a bit. It works for tracking my drone so far.
The set up was difficult because I did it wrong, so I suggest getting your APN details correct to avoid problems.

If you buy the sim card from amazon that I did – it should be a simple installation and use the tracking ap that they provide ..

I like that is was small. I use this gps to track my FIANCEE !!! Found out he was cheating…. great system just hard to set up.
