After reading some of the previous reviews, I was skeptical about this purchase. Some say it didn’t assemble properly, or that assembly was hard etc. Also there were comments about missing pieces and quality. So I took a leap of faith when purchasing this Kitchen Island. Needless to say, I give it a five star in all categories. For me to actually take time to send a photo is a testament to how I really feel about this purchase. I dont like to waste my time, but this product impressed me. Solid value all around. Bob

While it looks nice, the overall construction was terrible with pre-drilled holes for screws that don’t line up with the pieces that are meant to fastened. The drawer will not close properly and the handle continuously falls off. It had been intended to be locating in a main room but has been relegated to a closet due to the issues with it.

Easy to install, sturdy, being very useful to add extra space and storage in the kitchen. Granite top is especially useful when putting hot pots on it. Other tables weren’t just as strudy as this one.
Product is exactly what I expected. Definitely recommend

I purchased this to use to feed my cats on. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and couldn’t afford a lot of space. First issue was there appeared to be a small burn mark on the granite top. However, again, given that I was using it for a cat feeding table, I wasn’t going to bother trying to exchange it.
I will say this wasn’t my first rodeo with trying to assemble something like this so I pretty much knew what to expect in terms of cryptic hieroglyphics for instructions etc. However this took me over 3 hours (at least 2 hours longer than it should have) to assemble. First problem was that one of the pieces had holes that were too small for the hardware. So I had to use something to carve away the wood to make it large enough.
Next problem was that the instructions were unclear in terms of what direction pieces should be facing on top so had to disassemble those pieces and reassemble.
It it fairly sturdy but it would be well advised to have some real Allen wrenches what have a more ergonomic handle. Also, if you over-tighten, you could easily split the wood.
I will probably order another one for my beta fish tank. But will make sure I allocate much more time for assembly. If you can get past the assembly, it is decent and cost-effective storage for small spaces.

I received the box in good shape and everything was packed carefully. There were a few issues however. After I laid everything out, I noticed a number of scratches and dents on some of the wood parts. I was able to touch up Most of the scratches with a furniture marker but there are a number of noticeable dents in the wood (see attached photo). There was a large gouge out of the wood handle for the wire drawer (see photo). One other issue was with the holes that were drilled into both sides to accommodate the wire drawer slats. One one side, there was supposed to be two holes drilled on each end and on the other side there was supposed to be one hole drilled on each end but they drilled one end with the hole patterns reversed. I was able to carefully measure and correct this. It’s a great looking solid wood microwave cart and I love the looks but they need to address their quality control. I’m going to contact amazon as this was the seller and see about getting a new wire drawer as the wood handle that was gouged is permanently affixed. I took a star off for the quality control issues. The design and quality of materials gets 5 stars.

First, I bought this cart in natural finish for my husband to use in the garage — it is a great cart. Nice to look at, sturdy, great wheels, and, easy to assemble. I liked it so much I ordered one in white for my kitchen. They cancelled the order, telling me it was “out of stock” and the manufacturer had no date for when it would be available again. Who lets white kitchen carts run out of stock??? So, because I have cherry floors and tile backsplashes in my white kitchen, I ordered the wenge color — it is very pretty indeed. That said, the dowels were missing to attach the granite, the little finishing caps to cover the screws on the sides were missing, there were no stops to keep the drawer in place, and, some jackass put an adhesive sticker on the top/finished side of the granite, which, I can’t figure out how to remove (granite is touchy that way). I want to scream. Personally, I think they should send me a replacement free of charge.

It saves me a lot of counter space and I am really pleased with the result. But some of the spots in the wood parts are not well made, we’ve seen a lot of imperfections and scratches. I guess we just pay for the granite. Granite top makes it really elegant looking though. I only put 4-stars because the instructions for assembly is not clear+the finished of the wood is not properly varnished and or drilled. During assembly my husband was really not happy but after it stands we both are pleased. I shall suggest a closed finished for varnishing and whole drilling. I do recommend this. It’s very classy and it does it’s job to clean up a cluttery kitchen.

Wanted something relatively compact for our newly remodeled kitchen and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. At the seventy-four dollar price, wasn’t expecting much but was shocked at the quality that was delivered. First, there is a lot of real wood in this product even though some reviewers seem to think it’s pressboard. Without the granite top, the unit is very lightweight, a sign of wood versus manufactured materials.
Speaking of the granite top – ours is slightly blemished so was likely taken from a larger piece that couldn’t be sold as a full countertop but the blemish is slight and doesn’t bother us. The top is HEAVY and it’s weight is all that holds it on (it is positioned by two dowel pins).
Several people complained that there was no drawer stop. Well, now there is. It’s a very simple device but it works fine unless you heave on the drawer to open it and then you might go right by the plastic stop.
Assembly was straight forward, good detailed drawings but no verbal instructions. Each piece has a ID sticker on it so kind of hard to use the wrong part. I do always recommended a good quality wood glue on every assembled joint and any dowel pins. It will only serve to make the unit even stronger than it already is.
Very rich final appearance, people would never guess the price of this. My wife is very happy with it so that’s really all that matters.
