Desde que compré mi purificador he cambiado el filtro 3 veces. Este filtro dura aproximadamente 5-6 meses de uso diario. Literalmente funciona en mis habitaciones durante las 24 horas. Es importante limpiarlo con una aspiradora o un cepillo una vez a la semana para que pueda realizar su trabajo correctamente. Me encanta en general le doy un 10. Cambio el filtro una vez que al limpiarlo el interior tiene cualquier tipo de olor.

I change my filters annually instead of every 6-8 months! I like that this filter is pure white, so you can clearly see how grey/dirty it is and when it needs changing! Clean the prefilter with a hand vacuuum every couple months to prolong its duration!

This is rediculous! I got the filter replacement on May 11,2021. Today is May 27, less than a month, the filter replacement red light is on. Is it suppose to last 3 months?!! My home is clean. I vacuum daily. This is the first replacement, the original filter was great, this one suck! What am I going to do? I threw away the box and how can I return it? I don’t trust it anymore, I am stuck with a useless machine!

These small units are nice to have around the house but they take a very long time to remove odors and are mildly helpful at refreshing the air in my bedroom at night. A lot better than nothing, and not the most expensive type so am glad to have them. Next time will pay a little more for something more powerful probably. When the filter is used up it suddenly quits and a red light comes on, and that’s it. So I am ordering a couple new filters to have on hand. With covid, things take a long time to come.

I installed 2 new filters into my machines but the red light would not turn off even though I pressed the lock button for 3 seconds. Come to find out from the Levoit people that you’re supposed to press the RED filter button for it to turn off. I did that and the red light disappeared.

This is a must have for the home! The filter to the right is 5 months old. With fires in Colorado this year, along with the normal dust, dander and pollen in the air, we knew we had to replace our filters sooner than the usual 6-8 month recommendation. So thankful for our Levoit Air Purifiers!

I was shocked at how gross my last filter was when I had to switch them! It was really really easy to change the filter and these filters have helped my asthma and allergies tremendously. I also have small pets and it helps with the smell as well. Overall excellent!

The Levoit Core 300 Air Purifier will shut off and not restart once the filter is no longer able to filter the air. That’s when this replacement is needed. Its important to order the one that is specified in the instructions that come with the unit. Its an exact replacement of the one that comes in the unit. Easy to remove the used one and to insert the new one and the unit restarts once again.

If you’re dealing with forest fire smoke go for the blue toxin filters. I’ve taken photos of the original (white) filter and the green toxin filter after cutting them open.
I wanted to see if there was a difference, and there is. The toxin filter has about 2-3x the activated carbon.

I have used both the original White filter and the animal Yellow filter. I have 2 dogs who shed a lot, and have my bedroom and living room in the basement. I bought this air purifier because I have asthma and our older purifier just wasn’t working for me anymore. I have had asthma flair ups being in the basement because, like any basement, it can get damp and has poor circulation. We run a dehumidifier and 3 tower fans during the summer and it helps.
I did not notice any significant differences between the original filter and the animal filter. They both worked the exact same to me with one being a little more expensive. I would say, if you are thinking about getting the animal over the original, just get the original.

I bought the black coloured one and it is pleasing to the eye and looks nice in my bedroom. I have seasonal allergies and found that it helped decrease the frequency of my symptoms – no more waking up with itchy, dry eyes and throat. The sleep setting is very quiet; I’m very pleased with this. I also find the timer settings very useful as I forget to turn it off before I leave for the day. Changing the filter is very easy and I like that there are different types to choose for specific purposes. I chose the regular one and am pleased with the air quality.

After 3-4 weeks, the filter developed a plastic/sour smell and proceeded to make my bedroom stink whenever I turned the air purifier on. This is the third Levoit filter I’ve had with this issue, and I’ve purchased different hopes as well (standard, allergies, etc.). They’re way too expensive to be replacing every month, so I’m going to have to try another purifier brand.
