I got these in Rigid, Very nice colour and texture to the material. Fit is also quite good. And it’s especially good to see they are available in longer lengths (I got them in 32 x 38).
What I didn’t like so much was the width of the lower leg. It’s much wider than you really need to fit over a pair of pull on boots, to the point of looking a bit awkward.
Other than that, they seem pretty nice.

Excellent pant. The boot cut isn’t over exaggerated either. The extra bit of room in the thighs is great for people with big thighs/butts. I love the look, but just don’t fit into Wranglers or Rustlers! Thanks Levi’s ❤

Lets start with the sizing. Only size up on the waist and not the length. Inseam is perfect. Of course all 100% cotton jeans will shrink and this one will too. The length of the jeans, I believe, is slightly longer keeping the shrinkage in consideration.
Now for the styling part, its just perfect. A real man always wears his jeans AT THE WAIST and so these are definitely a Man’s jeans as compared to 527. I would leave the 527 to skinny teens.
Indeed a classic fit. Fits perfectly in the thighs and the boot cut is perfect. I wear with cowboy boots and dress boots. Will have gathers at the ankle if you do any sort of regular shoes without a little heel. Pair it up with a shirt or a t shirt, a sport coat or a denim jacket. Impress those ladies 😉

I bought these because i like black jeans and was thoroughly disappointed with the 527 bootcut native cali. these are no better. I used to be able to buy black denim jeans that were just like blue denim jeans in terms of fabric except that they were black. The fabric was identifcal. No longer it would appear. The fabric of these is junk and not similar at all to a regular blue denim jean. Cheap feeling, and like the 527 bootcut, they attract more lint than any pair of black denim jean i’ve ever had in the past

I liked that it is a heavier denim than most others but not as heavy as Levys used to be. Also it is a shame that the rivets are no longer brass and the leather label on the back is a shadow (very thin) of its former self and you can no longer run the belt around the back of it. In short: they don’t make them like they used to but these are better than most. No longer made in the USA but in Lesotho.

Great jeans, perfect fit. The denim is just right, not too thick, stiff and uncomfortable but not thin either. Bought two pairs of these, one pair in rinse and one pair in black, both are excellent. Shipping was quick too, I will definitely be buying more next month (if they are still available).

Too old for the ‘skinny’ jeans fad (they look VERY silly & would look even sillier with me in them), struggled to find a pair of jeans with a decent leg circumference that weren’t flairs (been there, done that back in the ’70s, don’t want to do it again), couldn’t find any of these to try in a shop so took a chance and ordered via the web. Lovely fit, exactly what I wanted, won’t hesitate to buy more.

Nice very black jeans with no stressing or wash to age them. Will be good for many years to come. Feels great. Fits even better. A lot of dye will wash out. Wash before wearing or if you’re like me wear them with pride. Made in the USA our neighbors to the South.
I recommend Levi’s 517.

Size and quality is fine but label ( tab ) on back pocket is blank with no Levis label.
It seems to be a defective commodity that should be sold at half price .

It’s almost impossible to find these kinds of jeans in stores these days. I bought dark stone wash and rinse that looks almost same as 80S&90S Levi’s. Bootcut opening is perfect. Denim is heavyweight 100%cotton. Detailing is not really good as it used be before but still satisfactory. I had ordered two pairs of same size. One was made in Bangladesh and another in Mexico. One is bit bigger on waist and another bit snug and the inseams of both were bit longer.Update: Just after first normal wash and medium heat dry, the jeans shrunk almost 1 inch in length and got more snug on waist. I hope the waist will stretch after few hours wear.

I like the jeans. Quality of material is good but i read a lot of reviews of people that are saying the levi brand seems counterfeit and i think mine are as well. I have a pair bought from a levi store in toronto and these that i bought on amazon and these pair, the outside seam that runs down the pant seems to twist throughout the day so that it ends up in front of my knee. Really weird, so i find at times through the day i find myself twisting my right pant leg clockwise to readjust it. Never had a pant do that before but my wifes knock off’s do the same which gives me the idea that mine are to. Otherwise you’d never tell i guess

Fits really nice. I’m really a 42″W x 32″L but I had to order the 44″W to fit me properly. I highly suggest that you order the next size up for your waist. Only reason why I didn’t give it five stars was the button hole is a bit too small for the button. I had to open it up a little with a knife.
