We were told by the furnace installer 6 months ago that the higher-number filter they provided with it would last a year. We have cats (which he could see), and his specified timeframe turned out to be a “fib.” A later repairman (our air conditioner stopped working, because they didn’t seal the coolant properly when installing the furnace and new air conditioner coil) said he loves the filters, that he gets 6 months out of them, but with pets, they would probably last 3 months. Soooooo…. these filters are really good, but recognize that you may have to change them more often than the installer claims.

These filters for high efficiency furnaces are not easy to find at home improvement stores. We have purchased them from a Lennox dealer in the past and paid about $60 each. (They last up to a year). These worked out much cheaper and came very promptly. Exactly what we had before except for a different “model” number. That was a bit confusing but same measurements, same MERV value, and got a thumbs up from the heating contractor who serviced our furnace. This is how we will buy them in the future.

Works exactly as the higher priced O.E. ones do. Paid less for this 3 pack over the price of one O.E. in retail. Can’t go wrong.
Funny this is we had the annual inspection done on the unit and the tech knew where I got these and said these are the ones they use if a client doesn’t want to pay the high price of the O.E.
Best bang for the dollar

Looks very poorly and hastily constructed in someone’s garage. Comes loosely wrapped in an oversized plastic bag that is scotch tapped closed. Witness the poorly aligned fan-folded filter edges glued to the cardboard ends. Also the pleat separators are not even pushed into place consistently or secured in any manner. This is obviously a home-made production process that could be done better with more quality workmanship in the back alleys of China. I suppose you get what you pay for which isn’t that much cheaper per filter than buying from an original from a retail store.

These are the best filters for my furnace system. Not only do they fit snug the fan system is quieter. We run our furnace fan on low most of the time and with two beautiful golden retrievers the high MERV value is added comfort now the air will be cleaner in our home. Overall the price was very decent considering the local hardware wants 50$ plus for a filter.

This product is the same branded and built product as what Lennox markets. I checked the size for the product 16x25x5 and compared it to a $160 Merv 16 filter from a Lennox dealer and it’s the same dimensions. These filters although noted to be 16x 25 x 5 they are in reality measuring about 1/2 inch undersize but again that is how these filters come! Not an issue!
Update 1-19-2019. I checked and the filters aren’t exact size and shouldn’t be because the cabinet they go into has a small shelf that it sits on and the end cap that closes the enclosure has a foam pad that pushes against the end of the filter completely sealing this filter all the way around!

The filter is not the true dimensions it advertises- it is ~1/2″ smaller than it states or compared to old filter it was supposed to replace. It also does not include the weather stripping around the outer perimeter like the old filter. Between the lack or weatherstripping & smaller than advertised size, it would not work in the filter rack in our furnace. Ended up returning these & purchasing filters locally for same money that was a true size as stated w/ weather stripping foam installed. Bottom line, look elsewhere.

Only giving 3 star because I hate being deceived. The filter you see in the ad picture is NOT the filter you get. I ordered these thinking I was going to get actual OEM filters as seen in the picture however you actually get non-brand generic filters. Now that being said I’m sure they are fine even if they aren’t as good as the OEM you are getting 3 for the price of what you would pay for one.
They appear to be ever so slightly bigger but still managed to get it in the filter slot.

I’m always worried about buying items like this (with many varied sizes) online even when it gives a model number and so you would expect it to be standard. But when I looked up the source company and saw that it was actually local and that they sell filters locally, I felt much more reassured.
Sure enough, these filters fit perfectly for my Lennox furnace. Filters were marked exactly as the image on Amazon shows. Happy with my purchase, and will buy more this way (maybe in larger packs!)

These 3 pack filters fits perfectly to my Lennox furnace filter box and product delivery came as promised in a box without any damage as some people have observed. Very happy with the product, quality and perfect fit and exactly as described and shown in the photos. I tried similar filters from other home hardware stores and had trouble finding the exact size. Will continue to to buy from Amazon in the future – good value for the money!!

This is not wide enough and not covering the space . I had the same size mentioned on it before and was perfectly fitted but this product is too narrow. I am not happy with my purchase but not returning it because it’s a big box (2 in one box) and is hard for me to take them out to return. Not recommended.

We would have been happy this product but it was shipped in a box that was inadequate for the delicate nature of these filters. The order came with 3 Merv 11 filters, and each one was bent and crippled (some more than others) – see attached photos. The filters will likely still work but will not doing their job optimally. The box it was shipped in was a fairly flexible cardboard – however with that said…it was not fully clear how much damage was caused by transport or if they were already damaged to begin with. The box appeared to have been smooshed, so perhaps that caused some of the denting. I was excited to order these, and the price was great, but I am not sure I would order from this vendor again unless they changed how they ship these – i.e. stronger boxes.

Not actually 16x25x5” and is therefore not a good replacement for airbear filters which are true to their listed dimensions. This filter is actually 5/8” short in all three dimensions and while this is stated in the description, it is being touted as a 16”x25”x5” filter which it is not. It does not fit properly in my filter box and will be getting replaced as soon as my air bear filter arrives.
