Bought to replace an old “leather” bag my partner had inherited for her grandmother.
Came in a very nice presentation bag – with an explanation of the heritage of the product and the company. A great present and really won some brownie points.
I have marked the lightweight as four – as it feels very sturdy and a decent heft. Being light was not a concern – but just for the avoidance of doubt – this is not light…. It is a large leather bag (which is what I wanted).

I looked at so many bags and hoped I’d picked the larger one. It looked good value for money. And wasn’t wrong. It looks well made and strong with loads of room but one the best things was the courtsey of the seller. Bought as a present it arrived on time, beautifully packaged with a lovely personal note from the maker, along with full instructions for care. I hope I don’t need to buy another but would certainly go straight back to these people if I did. Excellent.

This large leather weekend bag looks fabulous. It was very quickly shipped, arrive beautifully packed in a box, then wrapped in a fabric gift bag. Came with instructions on how to keep the leather, but most importantly, is not treated with a bunch of chemicals, but is sun-tanned naturally. All the metal parts were carefully wrapped, and it looks as if the manufacturer really cares about providing a quality product for a very reasonable amount. We used this as a grad gift, and wanted our son to be able to use it for years to come. Very pleased with it, would highly recommend, and it looks like a bag that would cost much more. Nice thick leather, and I did not notice any odd smells coming from the leather, just a nice leather scent. Very happy with my purchase!

This bag exceeded my expectations. Craftsmanship is amazing. Leather is genuine and very good quality. What I like about it the most that is does not have anything engraved on it. It gives it that authentic look like it was really made in front of your eyes by some old school experienced craftsman.

The only problem I had with this bag was that there was no solid bottom in the bag. In other words, when you pick it up it will fold in the middle. To resolve this issue, I went to Home Depot and got a 3/16 inch piece piece of wood and cut it to fit in the bottom (21 1/2 x 10) Huge difference. The company that makes this bag should really include a plastic piece to insert into the bottom. Thanks, Mark

This bag is AMAZING! My boyfriend has wanted a really nice, durable, leather weekend bag for years, and I’d looked at other leather bags that were hundreds of dollars that were also much smaller. This was an amazing find. The bag is huge, it’s really high quality, so nice and durable. And the price is amazing.
It arrived packaged almost TOO well! Every piece of hardware was wrapped up to ensure nothing was damaged during shipping. It comes in a nice fabric bag and they give you this letter that’s printed on what looks like natural paper that has care instructions on it for the bag and info about the company.
Overall, just an awesome bag and you can tell the company puts a lot of work into making these and has a lot of pride in their products!

Ordered this item last night. Delivered next day. My husband travels a lot. The size is perfect for his long road trips. The pockets on each side are ideal for shoes or groom kits. The side pockets are secure enough to keep valuables safe. The bag feels very sturdy and handles are strong and well and fastened. There is some discolouration between the pockets and the main portion of the bag. (Photos attached) but this would not stop me from purchasing this bag again. Very happy with my purchase.

Forget the nylon duffels for the weekend getaway… do it with style! This Komal leather duffel definitely delivers. The quality of the leather and the stitching and trim detail is excellent. When there is a multitude of purchase choices to be made it is nice to see the ‘above and beyond’ approach with the Thank you Note and the protective shipper bag this item was sent with.

The quality of this item is unreal. The craftsmanship is first class. This is a timeless bag that will very likely outlast it’s owner and be passed down the generations for years to come. The smell of this thing is filling my lounge and it is absolutely delightful. Please be aware that this is made of thick and heavy leather. Not lightweight in any way. If you want a real bag that is built like a tank then just buy it right now! Stunning.

The leather smell is mild and pleasant
The care taken to wrap the bag is obvious. Has its own travel/dust bag, all the metal tags are wrapped and protected.
You won’t be disappointed if you want a quality leather bag.
I have packed a week’s worth of clothes for myself and my hubby and there is enough room for 2 thick walking jackets too, it is just excellent… :0)

Bought to donate as a prize in a charity golf fundraiser raffle. The bag is impressive and although very large it’s also very light, despite being very good quality leather. It’s been sitting in the dining room with the door closed for days – you wouldn’t know, no smell. Decent size pockets either end would easily each hold a pair of men’s shoes and more. Side pockets are a good size too, as is the zipped pocket inside which could hold a passport, cash etc. Good strong handles and two extra straps for shoulders. All metal fittings are carefully enclosed in wrap. The leather is a pleasant tan colour; the seller says it will get softer and darker with use, and that no chemicals were used during the making. They also say it isn’t waterproof but if it gets wet can be left to dry out in the sun and will eventually acquire the same texture.
Quite delighted with this bag, and the care that’s been taken packing it to send. The fact that it could be won will be a great incentive for our guests to buy more of our raffle tickets!

Love the bag. Gorgeous workmanship on it. The only problem is that I bought the 32inch, and its HUGE. Way bigger than I was picturing (yes I could have pulled out a tape measure, but…..). I bought it to give to my wife and kids to give to me for my birthday and when I opened it we all sort of laughed and commented on how huge it is. I am a short hop traveller. A weekend or extended weekend away type. This would hold 10 days of wardrobe for me, and I am a 2xl kind of guy.
So I returned it today. But the second I have already ordered a 24inch from the same company because this bag is so nice.

I am a Nursing student and before my switch in careers I retired from the Canadian Military. I have quite the eye for detail. This bag will NOT disappoint! Not only is the bag gorgeous looking but the stitching is perfect and everything is reinforced in the right spots! Whoever sewed this bag is a perfectionist who takes absolute pride in their work! I am currently using this bag to take my Nursing books and supplies between my house and Classes/Clinical work as well as weekend getaways! I can foresee this bag lasting so long that it is handed down in my family. I see some people complaining about the “smell” but I think it smells wonderful and that is just a fact+normal part of owning something that is made of leather. Its a week later and the smell is wearing off. I will purchasing more products from Komal in the future! Thank you!
