From the moment I started unwrapping this briefcase I was stoked. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This thing is gorgeous and exceeds my expectations by 1000%.
I’m very picky and demand quality. I finally found the briefcase I’ve been wishing for for years. I have a large collection of bags and none elicited the excitement I got unwrapping and using this one. People turn and look at me all the time now. It’s certainly the bag and not me. I got this for myself to help ease the pain of going back to the office after working from home during the pandemic.
It has all the functionality and pockets I could have hoped for. It has a really high quality canvas interior stitched into the 100% leather hand stitched bag. I’m truly happy with this one. The creator is amazingly talented and every detail is accounted for.

The headline says almost all. It looks very nice indeed, and actually better than my poor photography shows. It is more than big enough for me to jam in my laptop (with protective case), files, documents and other materials. The outside pockets are very useful for “keep with you” stuff like pens, highlighters, battery rechargers (etc.) and the slim zip pockets are perfect for individual papers or folders that you need to keep separate for meetings or other specific reasons. Other reviews have mentioned a (too-much?) leathery smell, but mine doesn’t have that at all.

The bag came very well packaged. It came in a clear plastic bag, then a fabric bag, another clear plastic bag and then Amazon packaging. The external zips and buckles were also wrapped to keep them protected. Very good size, very spacious inside, and lively smell and certainly can already see how the leather will age with use. I didn’t like the strap that game with it, as it comes in two parts that fasten with a buckle; potentially putting unnecessary strain on it. I did like the note that came with it explaining how customer service and quality is of importance with the seller’s details. However, I can’t accept the lie of “we’re a new start up business” when they have advertised they have been going for over 5 years. I haven’t tested it out yet, but will do in coming months and will follow up.

I just received the satchel. Very well packed and protected. It comes in a cardboard box with brown paper for protection. When you get it out, the satchel is yet protected inside two plastic bag and one linen bag. I was very impressed by this. The metal bits (buckles etc) comes wrapped in protective-pad like paper and film.
So in terms of delivery, 5 stars.
The satchel itself looks fantastic. The stitching looks alright, good finished there. The leather has leathery smell although in my case, not too strong. The leather looks ok, not dry and bends perfectly without creating any crease. Some people said the leather is too thin, for me is ok. Looks sturdy enough to last under adverse weather conditions. The zips are working and in one piece although they do not look the best. The strap is, in my opinion, good size in length and width. It has a padded support that can be adjust so it always will be on your shoulder. The strap clasps/hooks look good and sturdy. I have read some people having problems with them, we will see. First impression: they look good.
Overall quality 4.5 stars because I am not sure how long the zips will work correctly.
The satchel is so spacious inside. There is a lot of space for books, pads, laptop and more. I can fit my 15.6″ laptop, books, documents, stationary, etc. with no problem. The front pockets are small for these days smartphones, but still very useful to hold pens, pencils and things like that. Very functional.

The vintage looks is very elegant and smart. Also is comfortable to carry (just carry it out around the house to test). The leather tone in my satchel is very similar to the one shown in the picture on Amazon, so very happy with this. With the passing of the time the leather will look even better.

10/10 would recommend Craftsmanship – The stitching is beautiful and precise, all the buckles and locks are real metal and the tanning is beautiful. It smells like…. Leather lol I don’t know why people complain about this because I loved opening the packaging and getting that whiff of real leather, it’s just further proof that this is worth every penny. In short, this is true craftsmanship, there were no shortcuts taken this is a bag that will last you a lifetime! Practicality – My time is currently split 50/50 between home and the office AND I’m a working artist so this satchel needed to do it all for me. The shoulder strap is the only thing I have a bit of a hard time with but I’m short so the placement of the buckle on the shoulder strap is a bit awkward (sometimes even painful because of the stiffness) but the leather will soften over time and I’m sure I’ll find a good length to keep it at. It has tons of pockets and partitions. For reference, I can comfortably store my 15″ laptop (including wires, mouse, & headset), my sketchbook, my drawing tablet, a paperback novel, and my two pencil cases containing a multitude of drawing materials. Service – It came so fast! The satchel is packaged with great care inside a canvas bag and then again in plastic before it’s placed in the box with a lovely note signed by the store owner. This note also contained instructions for caring for it and additional contact information should I need anything. This is the longest review I’ve ever written about a product on Amazon but this store is deserving of a good review… I LOVE this briefcase/satchel and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a bag to serve many functions. On top of it being very practical, it’s also just beautifully made and well worth the price!

I’m not sure what kind of leather this is made from I have a feeling it’s camel leather. The design is fine but the strap and handle feel like they will not last long if you carry anything heavier than a laptop maybe a DSLR camera. The fastener on the front of the satchel is not a buckle it is a clip and a screw has fallen out of mine which is tiny or I would have replaced it. This is made the bag and safe to carry as I think the clip will fall off altogether so I’ve had to return it. If you want something really durable I’ll suggest you spend an awful lot more money and buy a thick cowhide one which is a shame because otherwise the satchel does look good.

My daughter who is an aspiring artist has always wanted a good leather messenger bag. She found this one with great reviews. I have to say she is ecstatic over it. The entire bag is leather inside and out. Similar ones we have looked at use cheap material liners, but not this one. This is a quality bag that will last for 100 years and through generations of use. My daughter has looked at the website and can’t believe the variety of other items available – she is already building her wish list for other items from this company. By far this is one of the most quality items I have ever ordered from Amazon. It came with a personally signed letter and instructions for care. It was packaged with care. If you are looking for any leather products this is the company to look at first and foremost.

I’ve seen plenty of reviews saying it smells bad when first opened. I wouldn’t say it smells terrible, but it will need a bit of time to air if you can’t live with the smell of new leather. It does lose the smell after a few weeks.
Dropped a star because sadly, after use for 4 days a week across seven weeks, the front catch came off (pictured). I’d hoped it might be more durable than that. It doesn’t affect the use of the bag, however. Just a shame part of it has broken so soon, especially given the price.

This bag is brilliant! I’ve been using it about 4 months now, and it is a proper workhorse of a bag. On arrival, the bag was expertly packaged with great care and attention to detail! The leather did have a strong smell after unboxing. (I left it for a week or so on the coat rack and in/out of the boot of the car.) After that the more the bag was handled the better; and it now has that lovely leather smell.
I’m using the bag daily for work. As a new bag, it was snug to fit in my mac, charger and my A4 diary. After using it for a few weeks, I could pack in just about anything! The leather has relaxed and the patina is developing lovely. At one point, I have fit my big A4 diary, an inch+ stack of children’s books, a mac laptop, a thinkpad laptop, two ipads, and all the chargers. It was heavy to carry, but did the job… like I said it is a workhorse of a bag.
The workmanship on the bag is excellent! The stitching is robust and the hardware used is solid. I have no doubt that this bag will be with me for years and years!
I looked into the company, and the owner started out very near my own hometown. So to Komal, from one southern girl to another, go get ’em girl! And I will be recommending your company to many in the future! Diolch yn fawr!

Very beautiful bag. I love the outside buckle can come out and could easily be put back in if necessary as opposed to tearing the leather if ever under stress…Well thought out.
