Just what I was looking for. The right angle usb mini end works well with dashcams in cars when installed.

This cable is mainly used for data transfer. It worked for a while but then my dash cam couldn’t even turn on even when it’s plugged to the usb port. Tried my old power cable and it works fine. Bought this to hide the annoying cable dangling down the mirror from the manufacturer. This is just terrible.
Savvy Shopper –
This cable is recognized by the Garmin device as a data transfer cable, and not a power delivery cable, which results in the device entering the mass storage mode.
In the data transfer/ storage mode the device will not start up actively for regular use, and depending on the particular model, it will not charge the cam.

My rear car dash cam usb lead was too short to reach the USB charger. This extra long lead at 5 metres solved this issue perfectly. In no time I had fitted the lead and now my rear cam works well!
The supplied sticky backed lead ties were of no use in recent summer temperatures of 26C + and soon came fell off. However, LARRITS Extra Long Mini USB Cable allowed me run the cable under the roof lining then down under the front seat to the charger point. So I’m well satisfied!

My bad for not reading the reviews but the product title says Power Cord for Garmin… Anyway, it is NOT compatible for my Garmin Dash Cam. False product description. I sending it back.

Good quality, does what it’s supposed to – transmit power to the dashcam. Bought it to replace the cheap adapter/cable that came with my dashcam and allow me to use a dual USB power socket instead.

I bought this as a replacement for my USB cable for my Blue Yeti Mic. I liked the right angle nature that gave me a more solid connection. This did happen, but I did not realise all it did was supply power, it did not allow my mic to talk to my PC, so it was completely useless. Not worth trying to send back far too much hassle.

Purchased this to power a nextbase dashcam from my car’s usb port as the 12v accessories socket is always live even when the car is off and locked. Works perfectly and doesn’t cause the dash cam to enter mass storage mode.

Needed this to connect my dashcam into the USB power socket on my car phone charger, and it works a charm. Very happy with this purchase.
SJP –
Needed this to install my dash cam in the car extra long at a very good price and seems to be a very strong wire

Bought to power a Nextbase 101 camera. I’d read conflicting things on other 5m cables saying they didn’t have the grunt to actually power a camera over distance.
Mine is plugged into the cigarette lighter using a 10 year old bog standard USB adaptor, absolutely nothing special.
Cable long enough to route around the window seals etc to the camera on the back window.
All good!

I used this USB cable to wire up a dashcam in our car (with the cable tucked along the trim). The cable works just as well as expected and keeps the dashcam charged. It’s what I’d call standard thickness for USB cables and worked very well for this application. Tough enough to pull on, thin enough to tuck in behind the trim (with nylon trim removal tools).
Definitely glad I got the 3 meter cable as the 2m one wouldn’t have reached. What’s also great is that this cable came with a handful of adhesive cord organizer clips that worked really well. I wish I’ve had these clips for my past similar projects as I could never find small, secure and adhesive-backed cord organizer clips locally.
Very happy!

This is in my car routing my dashcam behind the rear view mirror round to my rather awkwardly sited cig lighter socket between the front seats. It is working fine and is clearly flexible and robust enough to have been squeezed behind fascia pieces and panels, 90 degree bends and such. its not been fazed by sub zero temperatures or running across the foot heater vents. All in its in quite an extreme environment for an innocent USB cable and doing very well.
