I bought this bag for a weekend away and it was perfect. It looks very elegant, the size was just right, the construction is great, and it even comes with a letter signed by the manufacturer. It has two pockets on the side that are the height of the bag but pretty narrow. They were great for my iPad, charging cables, and small toiletries. There is also a front pocket that’s pretty small and narrow, but it worked great for small items I wanted easy access to (hand sanitizer, mask, etc.). Lastly, there is a small pocket inside with a zipper that was great for more small items. Honestly, this could be a $300 bag because of the leather and construction, so it is a steal for the prize. I highly recommend it.

I ordered this bag in May. When it arrived it did have a bit of a smell, but not as strong as I expected based on some of the reviews. I left it out in the garage for a few days, then cleaned and conditioned. There is now just a slight leather smell, which is to be expected.
The only issue I had was with the brass rivets on the strap. When I unwrapped the plastic, I saw they were tarnished/green and had stained the leather. I sent an email to Komal and she was very quick to respond. She said sometimes the brass reacts during the tanning process and recommended an alcohol based cleaner to get rid of the tarnish. I tired a few options, bit found that Bar Keeper’s Friend was the most effective (there a few videos on YouTube about using this on high end bags). Unfortunately, the staining on the leather would not come out (I tried saddle soap and Chamberlain’s leather cleaner). Komal stood behind her product and sent me a replacement strap. Amazing customer service.
The strap that was sent was a little bit longer and the spacing of the holes was different, so these bags are obviously handmade. I think that adds to the charm.
Great bag, great customer service. I would buy this again.

Totally unusable without stinking up the contents and the room I had it in was completely stunk out. Had to throw the bag away without any use to prevent my other belongings being stunk up.

Honestly love this bag. I’ve been trying to migrate from my backpack or suitcase when I’m just travelling for a night or two. This product has solved that issue while looking great.
Looks: Really high quality leather and the canvas on the inside is high quality too. There were quite a big of loose strands of canvas when I got it, but I was able to get them out easily in about 2 minutes. The leather looks like it will age really well and give a nice distinctive vintage aged look.
Smell: Yes there is a smell. It kinda smells like a farm if you’ve ever been around one. However, I opened up all the pockets, put a few dryer sheets in and put a fan on it for a while and the smell was practically gone by the first time I used it. The smell is not overpowering and you shouldn’t let it sway your decision to buy this product. If anything it shows that it is real quality leather.
Functionality: Side pockets are great for an extra pair of shoes or a hygiene kit. The main compartment can easily hold enough clothes for a weekend and a few extras just in case. I use the front strap pocket for my phone charger or something I may need easily accessible.
Overall I highly recommend this to anyone who has been trying to find a quality weekend bag without destroying their bank account.

Overall, I like the look of this bag. I travel often for work. It’s a great weekend size bag. The interior is lined. The liner was a surprise because the description wasn’t clear on the bag having a liner. I’ve used it twice and it still has a distinct smell. Other reviews suggested the smell would go away, it hasn’t yet, for me. I wanted a vintage, leather look and that is what I got. I’ve had a few compliments already, which is nice. The side compartments are a decent size and the front pocket is handy. In Canada (.ca) this cost me around $100. Compared to other brands I personally feel it was worth it. I’ll assume that it will last me a long time. It looks as though it was well made.
This leather is the 2 + grade or much lower for the quality level, but not stiffy. The thickness is average. The smell is acceptable. The design is perfect. There is one small pocket inside under the zipper just for keys. The bottom has to be stronger with something to make it more rigid. Metallic parts look suspiciously for durability and longevity.

Needed to make this follow up to my initial review as its been more than a month using the bag now, I have taken this bag on a short trip through Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands, perfectly fitted in the plane, train, bus over seat storage, the bag shows a high level of durability and its been really a great carry bag, I have noticed that the original leather smell which does not bother me at all, is only from the outside, my clothes did not catch the smell.
